Welcome to Smokey Acres! This property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires out there. Down a hidden gravel drive with wetlands on either side you will find a completely fenced in field surrounded by pine, oak, and swamp maple trees. There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch. Located a few miles from Brooksville and the Suncoast Parkway, this quiet and peaceful setting is just 5 minutes from the parking area and trailhead for the Suncoast Trail and 10 miles from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs, where you can spend the day at the local park or float down the river with the manatees. Withlacoochee State Park and other natural preserves with trail access and kayaking are only a short distance away, and Dames Cave, Homosassa Springs, and Chasawiska Springs are all within a ~20-minute drive as well. Spending a day at the beach is easy with plenty of options along the Nature Coast. We’re also less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater and two hours from Orlando. A perfect weekend get-away for anyone looking to “unplug,” Smokey Acres is also a great stop for those passing through the area. We are a close distance to many racing, livestock, boating and fishing events. We have no problem accommodating whatever you’re towing! Whether you'd like a leisurely day on the river or an adventure in the Gulf, there are plenty of boating options nearby. Be sure to make it back to the property in time to enjoy amazing sunsets that bring peace and tranquility to your experience. Our neighbors, JG Ranch, offers U- Pick Fruit and Vegetables or a great selection of local harvest at their roadside stand. This 10-acre property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires together out there. I've recently moved back home with my own family and as much as we enjoy the land for ourselves we'd love to share it. Any profit from hosting campers will help us maintain our sustainable farm that we're hoping to expand onto Smokey Acres. Just in! Our dirt road has been repaved. So no worries about a bumpy drive in!

This site backs up to the trail so, periodically you see a cyclist buzz by. Adjacent to RV pad is a raised/clean tent camping area with additional room for tables and chairs. The whole space is about 50ft x 50ft Campsite B “The Bus” is a retired 1978 Greyhound Tourbus. The cab remains untouched with all the vintage radios and switches. As for the rest…it’s essentially a queen size sleeping studio. Equipped with 2 small under mount refrigerators, a large toaster, 2 burner stove and hot water. Definitely went far out with this one but, it also has fun lighting and 100’s of vinyl records and amazing sound system. The windows are very thick and filter the natural daylight, so reading or jumping online (yes there is Internet) is very relaxing. Campsite C “The Preserve” is for those that just have a small tent and minor gear. Bike touring is popular in our area and we are a base camp for mid-journey adventures. Affordable, safe and refreshing….and back gate to the trail. Our Indoor/Outdoor restroom is fully enclosed and plumbed with hot water shower and flushing toilet. Everything went well it was a very peaceful place. It was clean it was cute my only suggestion is is maybe bring something that pads the pull out bed they have in there but other than that everything else was perfect. Thank you so much for the space Star wars were fine bathroom was fine I had a couple of campfires it was just quiet and peaceful and I had massive alone time and I loved it. Mini fridge worked and AC probably worked but I never had to turn it on I just used the fan because it was cool evenings and it was a great base for me to stay in order to go fishing or out somewhere sleep late lay there or just listen to the sounds of the forest which I don't get to hear very often. Thank you thank you thank you so much. I'm probably going to stay again sometime.

Great relaxing get away. Me and my dog spent 2 nights in the cabin. The walking trail was great to take her for walks. The cabin had cold A/C which was great for both of us. Highly recommended

Wild turkeys, fenced in yard for the dog. Enjoyed the peaceful siting even though was a high traffic road. Easy access to parks and the town. Enjoyed the parrots in kitchen area. Very talkative.

Jamil was an Amazing host. Beautiful property that met all of our expectations. Clean and well stocked....Our son enjoyed the games, my husband loved the smoker and I enjoyed the swing by the fire. Close to town and the springs! Who could ask for anything more!! Loved loved loved!! We definitely will be back!! CAN'T WAIT!! Highly recommend!!

Very private and peaceful. The mosquitos were awful so next time we’ll bring better supplies to help with that. Having access to a bathroom and firewood was a plus! The cabin was cute and the AC was a lifesaver.

Decided to book this last minute as a way to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. This place was clean, quiet, and in a great location. 5 minutes from rainbow river spring head. About 10-15 minutes from tubing from rainbow river state park. And about 15 mins from KP hole. Walmart is about 10-15 minutes away as well as several food places. The lot was quiet, has a fire pit and overall a nice quiet area. Def recommend.

Anne was a great host and the whole family enjoyed our stay in 3 cabins and the RV site. Anne was very welcoming and stayed in touch with us throughout our stay. We enjoyed talking with her and getting to know the birds. The entire property is beautifully maintained, and the kitchen area was well stocked with everything we needed to make a few meals on site during our long weekend visit. The cabins were clean and A/C worked great. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone else looking to get away from the crowded big cities.
