Come visit our friendly donkey (Henry) and Scottish Highland cow (Wallace). You will hear roosters, braying and some mooing early in the morning. The Withlacoochee Trail is a mile east at the end of the road. This is a biking, hiking and equestrian trail. Florida Classic Park is roughly 2 miles north on Lockhart. The Croom Recreational Area is also 3 miles away. If you are traveling with farm animals, we do have (2) 2-acre cross-fenced paddocks available for an additional fee. I had the most amazing glamping experience! It was the perfect peaceful getaway to slow down, unplug, and enjoy nature. My favorite evenings were spent sitting by the fire making s’mores and looking up at the incredible star-filled sky. I loved being able to pick fresh blueberries, gather eggs from the chickens, and harvest green beans, squash, and radishes straight from the garden. Cooking a meal with fresh ingredients from the property made the experience feel even more special and unique. The location was also great; there are beautiful springs just 20 minutes away, making it easy to spend part of the day exploring. One of the biggest highlights for me was being able to bring my dog along. We both had the best time enjoying the peaceful surroundings and open space. If you're looking for a relaxing nature escape with thoughtful touches, fresh farm experiences, and a chance to truly unwind, I highly recommend staying here. Colleen is a wonderful host. The cabin is cozy and well-built - kept critters and rain outside. The window AC unit was a life saver in the FL summer heat. The outdoor shower was heated. - a nice, intentional touch that made a world of difference coming back from fishing in Ozello State Park. The magic of this cabin is at dawn and dusk. The crickets, frogs, and birds make a beautiful symphony in the cool stillness. Which can be enjoyed on the patio on the rocking chair. Bait and tackle, groceries, and restaurants all withing reasonable driving distance. Plenty of boat ramps and fishing around. I absolutely loved my stay.

This was my second time in the cabin on this property, and the owners have done a great job cleaning it up and adding amenities. The cabin had no bugs, no mice, the bed was clean and comfortable, even new fluffy pillows! The mini-split keeps the small cabin dry and cool, even when it's hot and muggy outside. The kayaks we rented were in good shape, the docks have been cleaned up, and the property owners have added a nice pole barn for shade and a bunch of picnic tables. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back.

Exactly as described! Quiet and peaceful. Mini frig included which is very helpful not having to drag cooler(s) and ice back and forth!!! Bed is comfortable, fell asleep quickly, Did some research online before arriving to find places I wanted to for sure visit. Found some great restaurants in the area. There is a Publix nearby for restocking as needed as well as an outside ATM machine. My Australian Shepherd loved every minute of the trip! He was right at home in the cabin and loved all the new places to hike and explore!!

Weekend Trip to The Scramble On Inn

Colleen greeted us when we got there and gave us a tour. The camp site was exactly as advertised. Everything was accessible and easy. There was another camp site but nobody there and even though owners are on site, there was plenty of privacy. It was the perfect mix of camping and modern conveniences included. We loved it and would definitely come back! 🙂

3 nights at The Olive Grove

Overall my experience was good! Deirdre is very welcoming and helpful. When I arrived the air conditioner was broke and she immediately had it replaced with a brand new one. The cabins and bathrooms and kitchen are very clean and well stocked with essentials. There is a small fridge though the freezer portion doesn’t keep stuff frozen. It’s only a few minutes from town which is continent though because it’s near the highway there is some traffic noise. Also be prepared for a morning wake up call from the New Guinea hens. There’s someone living in a camper right next to the cabins and bathroom/kitchen area, they were very quiet. Overall I had a nice stay, the accommodations are great, just would have liked a little more peace and solitude.

Weekend Trip to Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

Cassandra and Walt were wonderful hosts and have a beautiful set of land that is well maintained for their guests. I stayed in the cabin, which was perfectly curated for a home-y, country feel. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you may need in the kitchen and bathroom, which made packing a breeze! There was a grill, table & chairs, and a fire pit on the outside of the cabin which made a great evening hangout spot. (Firewood provided) They have chickens which you’re welcome to grab eggs from, and a couple adorable kitties running around to try and make friends with. My favorite part of my stay here is how dog friendly they are! I brought my border collie and he had the BEST time being able to roam around and smell things, and the cabin was perfect to leave him in while I was at the local springs kayaking. The property also has several camper and tent sites, which is great to have options but even better that I was able to have several friends book on the same property! I highly recommend this Hipcamp and will definitely be back!

3 nights at Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

My two children (4yo and 7yo) and I spent three nights at the cottage and we are already thinking when we could go back!!! March weather was fantastic and the property was perfect for us so we had no need to explore anywhere else. The cottage itself had everything I/we needed (in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom) so my stay was stress free. When we first entered, there was music playing inside so it felt like we just returned home from running errands. The dried lavender in the bedroom was also a very nice little detail. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. My kids connected with their granddaughter and were playing outside all day long. They were allowed to pick fresh eggs from the chicken coop, run around freely and just be kids which I really appreciate. I walked around barefoot, cooked on the grill, we ate outside, we made fire at night and in the mornings I drank coffee on the steps watching butterflies and listening to birds chirping. I feel recharged, kids have new memories and we cannot wait to visit again. Our new happy place - Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Cabin Glamping

Had a great time at the "cabin". Secluded enough for privacy. Very cute and homey. Colleen was a great host. Gave us full instructions on where everything was and how it works. They provided everything you needed. Just bring clothes, toiletries, and drinking water. Would definitely stay again if in the area again.

It was nice the guy that works there is chill and the room was nice and the beds where comfortable its was a lil far out of the way for the beach and the caves but it was quite and it was scenic
