Equestrian, family and youth group campsites are available for your overnight stay. 19.5 miles of horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking trails weave through the forest. They pass a number of historical features, including the loblolly pine plantations that were planted by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's, by a charcoal kiln, and through farm areas whose springs and streams were used to make moonshine!

From the moment we arrived, Seth and Stephanie were incredibly warm and welcoming, giving the family the space and grace they needed to heal and transition during a difficult time.
The farm was absolutely the perfect setting for this season of life. The open fields and natural views provided a peaceful, restorative environment that you simply can’t find in more traditional settings. There’s something deeply healing about being surrounded by nature and wide-open spaces.
The kids were entertained watching the chickens, geese, turkeys, and sheep wandering about the property. These simple joys made such a meaningful difference during their stay and created sweet memories during a challenging transition.
I would highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling through the area, but also to locals who want a new taste of their own community. This farm offered our family something truly special - a safe harbor and a chance to experience beauty and peace during a time they needed it most. Seth and Stephanie’s kindness and the tranquil setting made all the difference.

Spent the weekend camping at the Main Barn at Redemption Springs Farm and what a unique experience it was. This is a working farm with healthy sustainable and natural farming methods. There are a lot of chickens, ducks and turkeys on this farm, with a couple of chatty geese and a sheep. Seth greeted us and he and his family could not have been more welcoming. It's a working farm so you could see them out and about caring for the animals or helping people at their farm store they run (really good food available for purchase, made sure to load up before leaving, plus you don't need to bring everything with you). Seth took time out to talk to us about their farming methods, the heritage breeds they have selected and raised and what goes into the produce they sell. It's a lot of fun watching the birds wandering around the farm as they are completely free range. They'll come near your campsite but will leave you alone but have no fear of humans so you can really watch them up close. The farm is very pretty, good camp site behind the barn, there is electricity, you can use a hose pipe for water if you need it, or use their natural spring water. There's wood for sale, eggs so fresh because they were laid that morning and so on.
The location is only a few minutes from Westminster if you need city type things, but you can't tell out on the farm, you feel like you're way out in the country, no traffic noise or anything.
It was a very relaxing place to stay, will definitely return!

This was a perfect overnight weekend for the grands and us. Only an hour from DC we slept under the stars in the pasture where heritage chickens, turkeys and ducks freely roam. We ate delicious eggs and sourdough bread from their farm. Don’t miss getting tickets for the farm tour. Seth is a perfect host farmer!

This was a very peaceful place to stay. The 20 amp power suited our needs just fine. The little store on site had super fresh milk by the gallon and great snacks and treats for our dog and tons of meat options to purchase. Seth and his beautiful wife Stephanie were delightful and they have a little boy who was beyond adorable.
Added bonus: There’s a sheep that wanders around who thinks he’s a dog. His name is Aiden. He loves head scratches.

Hannah’s place was delightful—I camped in a shady spot under some tall trees, and it was quiet (though a lot of bugs in summer—was happy I had my screen tent for kitchen use). Once or twice a group of horse riders went past my site, and there seemed to be a horse who wandered over near me at night and was snorting and making noises at me :) Hannah was very responsive and no problems at all!

This was our first Hipcamp stay and it was amazing! Seth was a great host and so accommodating, his love of regenerative farming resonates and we enjoyed learning more about this farming method and the importance of heritage breeds. The livestock were so chill yet playful with one another. The cows and sheep cohabitating and taking naps together, and how robust and colorful the feathered friends were! Arvin the sheep is not shy and very approachable, loves attention and getting rubs.
Went to their Farm Store and bought beef, pork, chicken, yogurt smoothies, butter, eggs, and rolls. Eggs were fluffy and wonderful, smoothies fantastic, and I made wontons with the ground pork--they were the juiciest and flavorful! Met Jonathan the blacksmith at the store and we had a great conversation with him, he offered recommendations of nearby places to visit, and even joined us for breakfast! The experience was absolutely memorable and we enjoyed every moment including Arvin jumping into our teardrop!
Thank you Seth and family for this amazing experience, we look forward to visiting again soon, and we highly recommend Redemption Springs Farm! ❣️

Secluded spot with lots of animals to watch and enjoy. We spent 2 nights, being away during the day visiting family. There’s electric and water hookups but none for sewage. Pretty farmland view and a welcoming host. Wish we’d had a chance to try some of their homegrown food. Guinevere the goose was the highlight for me, so friendly! Thank you Seth.

Most campers enjoy the unique-things along the way. This place is one of those stops along the way. Ours was an in-and-out, overnight respite from the road. Directions were perfect, always a plus.. too often a surprise. Seth greeted us, as we texted him about 30mins out.
Seth and his family run this unique farm 'Redemption Springs'. Google them, as they are doing 'it' old-school. Ya know, when food was genuine ... not corporate farmed. Just know you will meet many new creatures you'd expect. Aiden the Ram (yes, a RAM) was particularly memorable. He greeted us like a welcoming puppy.We purchased some goodies from their store while there. I wish they were local to us....
The site was too easy. We drove in and out, effortlessly. Strongly recommended!!

This was a very nice and quiet place to stay! I felt completely safe, and the rope lighting was a neat addition to the site. The water wasn't at the site, due to it being winter, but Suzette allowed me to fill my fresh water tank at her house, just up the hill from the site. I would definitely request to come back if I'm ever in the area again!
