The property is very spread out and there are 2 outhouses for all sites to use. Your pets are welcome too! Locally there are state parks with beaches, and state forest for trails and lakes, hiking and biking. Or you can just relax and enjoy the serenity! We cannot allow any wood for camp fires to be brought in form the outside for environmental reasons. It can be pre-purchased for $12 per bundle on this site, or $10.00 cash here at farm. Farm Fresh eggs daily when available for $5.00 per 1/2 dozen. Blankets and pillows only are provided, NO LINENS for cabin or trailer sites only. Garbage removal is available as well $5 per bag provided.

The property is in a very private and natural setting, yet very close to other amenities, including Foxwoods, Misquamicut Beach, Mystic Seaport, and Downtown Westerly. As a family farm we produce a wide variety of items on our property. Depending on the season, these items may include lamb, pork, produce, eggs, syrup, honey, etc… They can be purchased in advance or when onsite (subject to availability), we always recommend letting us know in advance if you are interested in something in particular so we can do our best to accommodate as we do sell out of items from time to time. The property features numerous hiking trails though fields and woods, a pond for swimming, boating, and excellent private fishing areas in the pond and brook; Fishing is catch and release only on the farm property. Barbless hooks are required (you can file them off, let us know we can help). Adults are fly rod only, Kids are fly or spinning rod. No is license required for the pond. The Brook requires an CT state fishing license and trout stamp to fish. Never fly fished... don't worry we can help. Check out addons below. PRIVATE! PEACEFUL! Absolutely heaven sent! A place that will stay in your hearts forever. The property's backdrop is the lush James Goodwin forest where you can walk directly from to hiking trails. Fall asleep under the magnificent brilliance of the millions of stars, hear nothing but the sound of crickets, croaking frogs, hooting owls; see fireflies light up the night and fall asleep to the sound of the streams running right alongside the property. Watch the ariel acrobatics of the swallows swoop into the barn to feed their chicks! The two streams feed into the huge Natchaug River right across the street which is great for fishing, or spending the day at Diana's pool basking on the rocks with a picnic lunch. The area and property is perfect for hiking, horseback riding, small retreats, family gatherings all the while enjoying nature at its purest. We offer a Weber grill and large fire pit and outdoor picnic table with umbrella. You can either sleep in the barn, down in the clean stalls, or up in the barn loft. Bring supplies as if you are camping ie bedding, hammock, tent, sleeping pad or inflatable mattress. There is a long wooden table up in the barn loft that seats 14. There are games up there too, (dominos, cards, trivial pursuit etc). You may also camp outside under the starry skies. No loud music. Noise off by 10.30pm please We provide a VERY clean porta potty and the barn has electricity and running (cold) water. Bring a solar portable shower should you need.

Weekend Trip to Heaven Sent Barn!

We overnighted here for my sons birthday fishing trip. 3x 13 year olds and dad. Jocelyn was an amazing host. Super friendly and approachable. The barn is a great place for cold nights and rain. It’s a great way to plan a camping trip without worrying about rain or weather. If you are into trout/small mouth fishing the Natchaug is right across the street and there are many many walks all around. Great location will definitely be back again!

Loved this site! The wooden platform kept our tent off the ground and nice and dry. Check-in instructions were 100% clear and easy. The pond is super relaxing. You're only minutes away from Mohegan and Foxwoods to wine and dine. Just ensure you have 4WD... There's two tree stumps to dodge if your vehicle has low clearance but it's easy to maneuver once you see them the first time. My Subaru Impreza hatchback is quite low... Anything taller than that you'll be a-OK. Would come back if welcomed!

Stayed overnight in the remodeled horsetrailer in the field. Quiet. Large enough for 2 adults and 2 dogs. Hosts were nice and the horses were beautiful.

So far still the best hip camp ive ever went to.View was superb,entering the place was a little challenging but we love it,feels like a little adventure.Our campervan is front wheel dive but had no problem maneuvering the terrain,all you need is good ability and common sense driving.We love the deck and the fire pit.The reflection of the trees on the water gives us a nice view,importantly place was so serene and very private.We highly recommend this hip camp place.

Absolutely loved it! Even though it rained the whole time we were there, it was still a wonderful experience. The place was peaceful and quiet, with a perfect setup for a fire pit right by the water. They even provided the firewood. The fire pit is surrounded by rocks, making it so easy to sit, relax, and enjoy without needing to bring anything extra.

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. We easily fit 5 of us in the top floor with air mattresses (If you are planning on sleeping on the first floor, definitely bring a tarp or blanket to put down). The outdoors area was well maintained with a great firepit where we sat around the flames and listened to the frogs and crickets and such. Would recommend. Was fun to watch the swallows as well. Porta Potty was very clean and had a convenient solar light next to it to help you find it in the dark.

This spot was absolutely beautiful 😍❤️ We had a great experience. Both host were so friendly and welcoming. Horses that came up to our trailer was an incredible experience. I've never slept in a horse trailer, but there's a first for everything. I didn't get the greatest sleep. But hey, it's a horse trailer. There's a few minor things I would update, but honestly for the spot, cost and just amazing time we had. It was perfect! And literally no bugs when we were outside hanging out.

This property and host were fantastic! We set up our tents in the back and truly appreciated having the barn as a shelter when it rained. The electricity was a great bonus, making it a step up from traditional camping. Plus, Diana's Pool was just down the road and provided a fun afternoon activity.
