When he wanted to sell his property he offered it to us for purchase at a fair price if we would not develop more than we needed to live here. We maintained the meadow adjacent to our property and have kept it as an agricultural site. We have had our son develop an edible forest garden and a unique diversified small orchard so we can eat and share healthy organic fruits and vegetables while helping our environment and wildlife and educating others to do the same. It is expensive to live in Newtown but we love our property. We want to teach others to grow food from their land while helping to support us keeping our adjacent property agricultural and undeveloped. Theres something really special about this place! The horses are amazing, the land and trails are beautiful and the people are nice and friendly! My old van made it easily up the hill and the parking was nice and flat and the power hookup very good! My dogs also had a great time! The WiFi worked very well on the iPad but the phones struggled a bit. But really I have to dedicate some words to the horses: oh my, what beautiful animals they are! And they are all rescue! Mama and Lacey stole my heart!

We loved camping at Ronald’s place. Very quiet and secluded. We only stayed overnight, but had the choice of his space which was fun to navigate in our SUV (if you have air suspension would recommend to jack it up for better ground clearance!). Thanks for having us!

I enjoyed my peaceful camping spot on Jessica's lovely land. There was plenty of firewood, if needed. I did not get to meet my host in person, but Jessica checked in by text to make sure I was doing ok. Her land is well maintained and the location is close to a State Park and to stores and shopping. The land is on a slight incline and it can get windy. Highly recommend and will make plans to return when it's a bit warmer!

Eric’s sites are well marked and very nice. The number 3 site where I stayed was level and had a picnic table and fire pit. It was very quiet although a bit cold and windy for a fire. I would definitely stay here again!!

This place was so great that when I sent photos to my wife she told me to get three more nights, called out sick from work on Friday and hopped on a bus to meet me. Hiking path. Clean. Nicely mowed. You can barely see your neighbor over the meadow. In my wife's book it gets extra credit for being down the street from a historic church - we walked there on Sunday for services.
