Our family loved camping on Kammie's land. We had a truck camper and 2 tents. There was plenty of room for each. The signage and lights were very helpful. The porta potty was exactly as described, very clean and pleasant. It is situated just a few miles north of town; the market just a mile away has coffee and morning pastries. It was a very pleasant stay in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It is on the Durango Silverton Railway, but that just added to the charm!

Kammie’s Hipcamp was not only met our expectations but exceeded them! Electricity was also provided (an absolute necessity in the IPhone age!). Kammie welcomed us upon arrival and directed us right to the site. As a bonus we enjoyed several starry nights in the valley.

Beautiful view! The campsite is directly behind the house as shown in the pics, but was not a problem for us. The host was very friendly. The location is close to town, and we walked to the Coffee Bear every morning to get our day started. Staying at this location was easy and relaxing. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great little spot close to downtown Silverton. We managed to get our 30’ wolf den into their spot, but wouldn’t recommend anything much larger if you have a tow vehicle. The 110 power was super convenient to keep the batteries charged so we didn’t have to run a generator. Joe and Patricia were super accommodating and kind. We ended up dumping tanks at the Red Mountain RV spot up the road for $20. The closer one charges $25.

This is a beautiful property and the hosts are very kind. We had great views of the river and mountains. There are 2 dogs and a cat that live on the property, they mostly keep to themselves and are all very friendly and add to the natural ambiance of the property. There is an amazing walking path along the river. The hosts were in the process of setting up some very nice glamping tents on wood platforms. Keep an eye out for those when they become available because those would make for a wonderful peaceful stay.

We spent one night at Kammie’s and it was lovely. We had water, electricity and a portable toilet. The site is pretty and very quiet. The hosts are very friendly but not invasive. Great place for tenting.
