Silverton serves as the drop-off and pick-up point for the iconic Durango/Silverton Railroad, adding to the area's charm. Just a short walk from town and conveniently positioned one block away from the OHV route, our location is ideal for exploring all that Silverton has to offer. We are one block from OHV route entrance. We have 110V 15A hook up for camper. Town is only a few short blocks and the town is surrounded by mountains. No access to bathroom on this lot. Dump site in town (fee). Fire pit with free supply of firewood.

Town is only a few short blocks and the town is surrounded by mountains. No access to bathroom on this lot. Dump site in town (fee). Fire pit with free supply of firewood.

Joe and Patricia were very hospitable and helpful. Perfect little spot, for a few days hiking and biking around Silverton. Couldn't ask for a better stay!

Beautiful view! The campsite is directly behind the house as shown in the pics, but was not a problem for us. The host was very friendly. The location is close to town, and we walked to the Coffee Bear every morning to get our day started. Staying at this location was easy and relaxing. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great little spot close to downtown Silverton. We managed to get our 30’ wolf den into their spot, but wouldn’t recommend anything much larger if you have a tow vehicle. The 110 power was super convenient to keep the batteries charged so we didn’t have to run a generator. Joe and Patricia were super accommodating and kind. We ended up dumping tanks at the Red Mountain RV spot up the road for $20. The closer one charges $25.

We had a good time. It was super busy in the area, and having a campsite right in town made the trip easier. It’s in a backyard, so if you want remote this isn’t the one, but if you want to walk from the downtown restaurants and breweries and have a safe, easy place to camp, it’s a good spot with a great view and close location to all the things in town.
