Nestled in a private canyon just 20 minutes from Fort Collins, this 5-star RV stay offers the perfect escape. Don’t worry about rv parks, dump stations, and utilities. It’s all taken care of for you, nestled on a custom dug terrace overlooking my private canyon. Sunrises and sunsets are a dream! This RV is parked for you, set, and ready to enjoy. City water is provided (I fill it for each visitor). I also take care of the sewage and grey tanks for every visitor. This is an off grid property, with all the amenities you need. There is no cell service, but I have you covered. Starlink satellite is on site, and gives you super fast, high speed connection. Enjoy 20 acres of wildflowers, quiet nights, and stunning canyon views. Unfortunately, due to high fire danger in our area, fires are not currently allowed. The RV is fully equipped for comfort, with a brand new detached dual fuel generator. It has a queen size bed, two bunk beds, and a convertible dining table that makes into another full sized bed. Sleep 5 in comfort. Adventure nearby: fish the Poudre River (10 minutes) or catch live music at Mishawaka Amphitheater (20 minutes). Peace. Quiet. Spring colors. Adventure. In a secluded private mountain canyon! Kings Canton is tucked away. I have spent 8 years rebuilding the road for access by most vehicles. Four wheel drive is recommended just in case, but not necessary. The private road has loose gravel in spots. Most SUVs can access. I have had my Ford Focus and my Toyota Prius up there (although some people say I’m crazy). I don’t recommend kings canyon for anyone with fear of heights! The roads are safe, but there are steep drops and switchbacks. Explore my property and witness hummingbird migrations. They fly here from Mexico. If you’re unsure about access, or anything else, please message me prior to booking and I’ll give you my honest assessment. No one knows Kings Canyon better than I do!

The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. Gave us space but made sure to let them know if we needed anything. The property and A-frames are amazing and such a wonderful place to escape without have to drive far. 10/10

Cute little nested spot. Neighboring houses, also additional sites where others are staying. So, if you are looking for more or complete solitude choose the A-frame furthest from house. Very quiet community. Good experience with access to outdoor shower and toilet area.

Weekend Trip to Rocky Mountain Glamping

We came for weekend away and found a perfect slice of tranquil heaven. Looking to dip your toes into the experience of camping without all hassles of camping and having every single item? Look no further, this is the place. We hiked in the RMNP, read, laughed and experienced the great outdoors while giggling over s'mores and making memories at the campfire. Our favorite amenities were the fantastic outdoor kitchen and hot shower, and Dot is the perfect host. We’ll be back!!!

1 night at A-Lodge Boulder

Last minute booked a little room in the A-Lodge, and had a great experince. It sits right on a little creek and definitely feels like a little private escape from the busyness of boulder. The bed was super comfy, the only thing was i think the AC wasn't working in our room but there was a very powerful box fan to make up for it. They also accidentally charged me twice for the room, so if you book through hipcamp, make sure to double check your bank statement. But other than that, it was a great stay, would stay there again for sure!

Weekend Trip to Rocky Mountain Glamping

We booked this site for friends while we stayed at the Explorer site. The Frontier is perfect for a couple and can easily accommodate a preschool or elementary-aged child, too, although it’s much cozier with a third person. The gas fire pit and picnic table are nestled against a rock, offering a private feel to the site. The site is well lit at night with split and electric lighting. The kitchen had all the conveniences you would expect from a home, except it’s outside. The shower at this site had a nice changing room, too. Everyone enjoyed themselves on our weekend of glamping and we plan to return.

Weekend Trip to Rocky Mountain Glamping

Dot and Byron were friendly hosts who thought of everything we needed for the ultimate glamping experience. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had full sets of dishes / utensils, and the solar lights made it easy to walk around at night. The camp is nestled on the mountainside and surrounded by trees. Lyons is a short drive away if you forget a staple. Kids and adults enjoyed the plastic hatchet toss game. We had a minor issue and the hosts came over right away to resolve it. It will be hard to go back to regular camping after this experience. We will definitely return.

This was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy some time together. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Dot and Byron and chatting with them. The bed was very comfortable and the shared kitchen, fire pit, and hot shower were lovely. We particularly enjoyed the screened in room we used in the evenings to unwind after busy hiking days.

We had such a wonderfully relaxing time at Bliss Camp. It was exactly the experience we were hoping for! A secluded spot in the mountains, with amenities available so we didn’t have to stress or pack too much. The campsite was so beautiful, we spent a lot of our trip just enjoying the nature around us, without needing to go anywhere. Dot and Byron are super friendly and helpful, and very responsive to questions. When we mentioned getting low on water they brought more to us within a few minutes. We also brought our dog with us and they were so sweet to him, and he played with their dog too. I would absolutely glamp at Bliss Camp again!

I would say the place is spectacularly beautiful- the dry toilet (bag of sawdust on a bucket with a seat) was in a children’s wooden playhouse out back so not ideal for those who are tall or prone to head injury!

This mountain camping getaway was pure bliss for me. I stayed in one of the gypsy wagons. It was cozy and adorable. There’s an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, hammock, air chair, trails, creek, mountains. Everything! I’d love to go back sometime. It was easy to find and just off the main road that goes up the canyon. Dot was a very kind hostess!

Weekend Trip to The Bluebear at Y Double-K Ranch

The place was incredible and SO cozy and private. We will *definitely* be coming back. We got to experience all the weather while we were there 🤣 85° and sunny, 60° and raining, and 30s° and snowing! All in a weekend! It was beautiful and well maintained so we felt very safe even during the snow. The view of the mountains was stunning!
