Horse ranch and nature conservation area. We have a pond you can float in and horses and mules who live here, as well as elk and pronghorn, and a bear. Dogs are welcome! We love dogs! Off leash is fine as long as they don’t chase the horses (and keep in mind that the mules do chase dogs). There is a gas firepit and a gas grill, sitting areas, a port a potty. There is a flat graded area for tents with a picnic table. We ask that there are no fires except for gas (we are still traumatized by the East Troublesome Fire that was 200,000 plus acres. We did not burn here and we’d like to keep it that way. We also ask that there is no loud music because this is the wild animals’ home first, and the antelope and elk have new babies. We are very close to Granby for the grocery store, restaurants, and the Granby Flying Heels Rodeo. We are nearby to the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, Hot Sulfur Springs Resort, Lake Granby and Fraser/Winter Park and all that Grand County Colorado has to offer. Also close by is Granby Ranch for downhill mountain biking and golf. We are about two hours from Denver. If you want to camp but don’t want to be stuck in a crowded campground with noisy neighbors, we’d love to have you! Sooo quiet and be peaceful. Super dark at night. Great alternative to tent camping… the bed was very comfortable. It’s decorated really well. I would only recommend a solar shower and better toilet. But, hey, it’s camping. Great place.

Great spot and Martin and his family were very welcoming and hospitable. Our 3 year old loved visiting with the horse and donkeys and helping feed the chickens and goats everyday. ATT cell signal isn’t good in this general area and wifi from barn was tough to stay connected to while in the camper but it was also nice to disconnect for a bit.

Such a beautiful place, especially during sunrise and sunset! The sky and the mountains were stunning. The location to explore the reservoirs and pike national forest is perfect. It is as listed - sage brush field with a fire pit dug in the ground. Bring everything else!
Recommendations:
I highly recommend bringing some sort of shade structure because the area is very exposed and we wish we listened to their advice to do so! This area can get windy at golden hour but didn't blow anything away as long as it was staked in the ground. There are tiny little cactus so if you plan to sleep in a tent (highly recommend - the stars were beautiful!), bring a tarp to put under your tent foot print - that worked great for us. It was windy one night, so we slept in the car so having both options is ideal. It's a perfect spot for quiet mornings, adventuring out all day, and coming back in the evening for a lovely sunset and fire.
Location:
The location is a little tough to find, it is little beyond where the address drops you if you're coming from Hartsel. There are two small black solar lamps about a foot tall - that will be where you drive your car through into the field and then you'll eventually see the fire pit. There was a tall shovel in the ground next to the fire pit when we got there which helped indicate where to go.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Navi's Sage Run! It was very serene and gave us a much needed break from the real world! Alexander was an amazing host and made himself available if we needed anything. He also gave us some food recommendations. Our dogs also enjoyed the off leash action. We highly recommend this hipcamp location and we'll be back again!

Charlene's property was such a great camping experience! Beautiful and peaceful land for a chill time with the family...and our dogs loved running around. The camper was clean and nicely appointed with everything from paper towels to games & coloring books and the trampoline is a fun touch. We would definitely stay again!

My pup and I had a great stay on Charlene's property. It was cool to watch the thunderstorm roll by. The trailer was as described, tidy, and easy to find. The swings are great! We did have a small fire, and appreciated the container, as it is always windy in South Park. There was extra propane, though we never found the Buddy heater. We just used blankets and were fine all night.

Would definitely recommend if you need a place to stay near the park and can’t get anything up in the air national park. Loveland is about 10 minutes away with great restaurants and brew pups everywhere.

Gracious host. Wide open spaces. Friendly dogs. Livestock with personality. What more can you ask for. Host Martin was friendly, offered up plenty of help and accommodations. Close enough to Loveland’s amenities and far enough away to feel the “Getaway” feeling. Thanks to our host for everything.
