This property has been in my family since 1900. It is still a working farm/ranch but we are looking to let a select few others enjoy our property. My grandfather built the lake with a d9 cat bulldozer in the 50's and we are just completing a sediment clean out and refurbishment of the lake. All of the trees were planted by my great grandfather and they afford lots of wildlife cover; wild turkeys, raccoons, skunks, squirrels, etc. The area we selected for camping is in a bowl so you have good privacy. The lake is stocked for fishing and because its private, no license is needed. The fishing hole and swimming hole are separate from the main lake and offer cheaper accommodations.
We limit ourselves to 2 campsites to the 100 acres, so there is plenty of privacy. There is some road noise and smell from the local dairy that is about 1/2 mile away if the wind is right.
Simple private camp spot - there is a swimming/fishing hole with dock and ladder. There is a year round creek and some small islands that can be explored. Fire pit, portapotty and propane grill are available. Potable water and sewage dump is available at main residence but not at camp site. This is designed to be a family friendly area that's great for younger kids. Area is also a pasture so cows and cow patties could be encountered and wild deer and turkey are around. If you have a larger family than 4 remember hipcamps policy is that younger children do not count towards the limit.

This land is beautiful, the lodge even better. But what made it all worth it was the reassurance that everything was going to work out. I had constant communication with Cesar as we had been travelling 18 hrs from Houston Texas. They made everything easy, asking questions and being patient. The lodge was stocked with necessities and even provided a grill, propane, a boot brush and even more two sources of heat. We were able to chop our own wood as well as purchase them from Cesar. It was all worth the drive and made my husband's and I anniversary exciting.

Weekend Trip to The Bluebear at Y Double-K Ranch
Cabin was very quaint and beautiful. Located in a very quiet area where we could just disconnect from everything for a few nights. It was exactly what we needed. Top tier stay. The view is spectacular and the cabin was really complete feeling for the size of it. We would definitely come back and recommend it to others. We bumped into the owner and he seemed like a very nice guy too!

This campsite a hidden gem.
The location is very convenient if you want a closer destination that doesn’t take long to get to.
The campsite was beautiful, tucked away in nature, surrounded by trees and flowing water, and secluded enough. The campsite was also set up nicely, with a flat and clear tent area and a great fire pit.
The directions were easy to follow and extremely helpful.
The host was great with communication and instructions.

The little bear or Blue bear is a very nice cozy place to stay. It has all essential things to make your stay comfortable and a remembering one. It is very peaceful and easy to reach. This property was AMAZING! I stayed 2 nights by myself and I’m so grateful I found this site. The little bear cabin was perfect. Signage was clear leading up to the site. The road is dirt leading up to it and then gravel. The view from the cabin is great. Through the trees you can see the mountains, walk up the hill a tiny bit and amazing clear views. The grill worked well and there was firewood at the wood stove. The inside was clean and it was great to have the fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. The cabinets had paper plates, plastic cups and some plastic utensils. The cabin keeps out the cold fairly well but it was a bonus to have the heater. The bed was comfortable and there was a cot below you could put together if you had another person that needed a spot. The porta potty was clean as was the site in general. You can see the other cabin from this one but it’s not too close. I highly suggest booking this cabin!

Beautiful camp site. Shawn was super helpful the entire time! We found a beautiful spot up a hill from the actual camp spot to hold my wedding ceremony! The sky was gorgeous and we have plenty of room to explore and be comfortable. My only complaint is the hill leading to the bridge was pretty steep. I would 100% come back! This was a nice little site. It has plenty of shade but a nice clearing to see the night sky. A very sturdy fire pit and flat places for the tents. The host had great communication. Would stay again.

This spot was a calming location. It was my first time camping solo since my friend had to work last minute. Felt super safe and had nice neighbors with plenty of space in between sites. Only thing is I wish the road wasn’t so close to the sites, as you can hear traffic.
