A-Lodge Boulder is a 30 room lodge just 2 miles above downtown Boulder, Colorado. We are located in a wilderness area of Boulder Canyon, right at the junction with Fourmile Canyon. We have three #vanlife sites and four tentsites for offer on Hipcamp.
We have a BRAND NEW barrel sauna, hot tub, grills, seasonal pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day), meeting space, outdoor beer garden, bathrooms and showers for campers and a wonderful trail to Betasso Preserve right from your campsite. The Fourmile Creek runs through our property along our large lawn area. Great views and you might see bear, deer, elk, moose, foxes, or even a mountain lion!
Walk-in sites are just a short hike, about 100 feet, on an unmanicured trail to our platforms. We provide the platform for your tent as well as access to all of our lodge's amenities; front desk, lobby, bar & beer garden, fire pits, grills, bathrooms, shower, outdoor common areas, free wifi, etc.
A-Lodge has a 7-day non-refundable cancellation policy. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival, 50% of the total is non-refundable.

Blue Bear was an amazing little weekend getaway. The place was clean, well maintained, and stocked up with necessities. The view was absolutely breathtaking and exceeded our expectations! Could not recommend this site enough.

2 nights at The Bluebear at Y Double-K Ranch
This property was AMAZING! I stayed 2 nights by myself and I’m so grateful I found this site. The little bear cabin was perfect. Signage was clear leading up to the site. The road is dirt leading up to it and then gravel. The view from the cabin is great. Through the trees you can see the mountains, walk up the hill a tiny bit and amazing clear views. The grill worked well and there was firewood at the wood stove. The inside was clean and it was great to have the fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. The cabinets had paper plates, plastic cups and some plastic utensils. The cabin keeps out the cold fairly well but it was a bonus to have the heater. The bed was comfortable and there was a cot below you could put together if you had another person that needed a spot. The porta potty was clean as was the site in general. You can see the other cabin from this one but it’s not too close. I highly suggest booking this cabin!

Weekend Trip to The Bluebear at Y Double-K Ranch
Beautiful view! We had a great stay. All images and posted amenities are accurate. The space is well insulated and kept heat well. We used the wood stove for heat before bed to ensure the temperature stayed up over the course of the night. We stayed in September and there are aspens on the property with a beautiful Mountain View. With a clear day you can see multiple mountains and some had snow on top!

What a cool, serene, GORGEOUS spot. Close enough to Denver to have a night out in the mountains. WiFi, too, so working here is totally doable and you’d have the best view. The hosts have really stocked the place well and the outside and inside fires were perfect on a chilly night. Did I mean the vast night sky full of stars???

Great spot! Cesar let us stay and check out the foothills for some moonlight photography. We had the sound of horses nearby, some birds, and a very glamorous tiny cabin to stay warm in while we waited for the clouds to clear. Enough distance from the nearby properties and the other cabin to feel on our own, and a good little hike nearby through a small aspen grove.

We loved our stay at the blue bear! The views are breathtaking. The space is comfortable. We appreciated the large signs directing us to the cabin, the art along the road, and the signage throughout the cabin. We were surprised to find a refrigerator and wifi as well. My daughter was so sad to have to depart. We definitely made some great memories on this trip and inspired to build my own cabin.

Weekend Trip to North Shore RV Park & General Store
This is an RV site with a couple of cabins and tent spaces. The park was quiet, clean and easily accessible. I saw deer and turkeys each evening at dusk. The cabin was super clean and had a couple of battery operated lanterns. Bring your own bedding or sleeping bag. The shower was great and a flushable toilet is always nice to have while camping. Very relaxing to sit on the cabin porch and watch the deer or turkeys.

Absolutely loved my solo time at the cabin. Such a peaceful spot and so thoughtfully put together. There was another cabin just past this one that had guests staying at it, but overall still felt secluded and quiet. Loved all the chipmunks, birds, and deer around. I hope to be back again in the future for more solo time.

I took my out of town parents here for a glamping experience and we couldn’t have asked for more. The view of the sunset was spectacular. We had everything we needed and more to have a wonderful stay.
