Falkor Ranch is located on rolling hills on the Palmer Divide about an hour southeast of Denver, Colorado. Located at 7,000 feet with a beautiful view of Pike's Peak and the Rocky Mountains. Your camping fee includes a farm orientation, indoor plumbing that includes a shower.
You will meet our beautiful alpacas and Nubian goats that we have for milk, weed control and just because they make us happy, as well as a flock of laying chickens for fresh eggs. We have a variety of gardens and a year-round geodesic dome greenhouse that provides us with fresh produce. This is a quiet country setting. There are many popular and diverse activity sites less than an hour away. Come escape the hustle and bustle of home, and enjoy the beauty of nature and our loving animals.
We offer both tent and RV listings to suit however you like to travel. We have a hot shower, bathroom, picnic tables, potable water, and trash and recycle bins. Our RV listing has both 20 and 30 amp electrical hookup but no water or sewer hookups.

Diane is so sweet and showed us all of their beautiful friendly animals and plants when we arrived and even offered fresh goat milk and a plant starter! The land was gorgeous and we got to watch adorable goats from our tent. One of my favorite camping experiences ever!"

Easy access to drive up to Rocky Mountain National Park. We are located in an agricultural area, corn, hay, sugar beets are farmed on a large scale. Our neighbors, Miller Farms CSA and farmers market, are one of the few remaining vegetable farms in the area. Small lake within walking distance. Pet friendly. 110V (very minimal at 15 amps) power and potable water available.

Welcome to Black Forest, Colorado, located on the northern end of Colorado Springs. This property sits on 5 1/2 acres of beautiful woods. Despite the privacy and peacefulness, you are only minutes away from a gas station/convenience, store, barbecue restaurant, breakfast/lunch café, and a pizza/grinders restaurant.
We have two covered RV spots and two open RV spots. The two covered spots have electrical hook ups, the smaller spot offers only 110v plug-in, and the large spot offers 30/50amp. Although we don’t have water at each spot we do have long water hoses to get your tanks full. Please note we do not have septic! There is a KOAA 15 minutes away, which allows dumping for a $10 cash fee.
The smaller RV spot is suitable for up to a 30 foot RV, the larger spot can fit up to a 40 foot RV. There is one tight turn to get onto the property, but once you’re on the property it is easy to navigate. We highly recommend you arrive during daylight hours, so you can maneuver properly. Wi-if available.
Fire pits allowed on the open center area only. Quiet hours from 9 PM to 8 AM.
Owners live on site, in the log cabin. Two dogs live on property.

Perfect stop while staying in the Colorado Springs area. Very clean property with easy access to the RV site. We stayed in the larger bay with our 33’ fifth wheel. Adriana and her husband were very good at communicating with us and made sure we were hooked up to their water. The setting is a nicely wooded area with deer and birds coming through on loud stay.

John's place is a perfect little spot. Quiet and peaceful next to a pond. We all camped over a weekend then my husband stayed a few more days while he finished a job in the area. The trailer was perfectly safe if he had to leave during the day. It was the perfect spot for peace and quiet after his work day.

Friendly hosts, nice place but be aware that if you have a vehicle wider than a Class B van you won't be able to access their designated camping area as their secondary gate is too narrow. There's plenty of space to camp outside that area but there's a lot of road noise in that location. Just a minor inconvenience that wouldn't put me off staying there again.

We had a great weekend at Falkor ranch! It was peaceful, quiet and we woke up to all the friendly goats and alpacas grazing near our tent. Their sweet calm dogs kept watch over us and we felt very protected and safe. The owners gave us a tour and taught us about each group of animals and were kind and considerate of our son with Autism. ❤️❤️❤️

Anthony and Jared are amazing hosts! They make you feel welcome and cared for, are super attentive and readily available if you need anything.
It is so fun to watch the goats, Oreo, Star and Marlberry play and munch.
The main tree offers lots of shade and the sunsets are spectacular, we even saw rainbows the last two times we stayed there!! This hipcamp farm is a little slice of heaven super close to Denver and surrounding areas.

I definitely recommend this place. So peaceful. Tom & Diane made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. They are very knowledgeable and so kind. Tom offered us a tarp for the bottom of our tent, we very much appreciate it. We were passing through for work & it was a wonderful break from being on the road for my husband, me, & our 2 year old son. Our son loves the outdoors so he absolutely loved it here. Their alpacas & goats were so sweet, my son would go and say hi to them often. But their dog Titus won our hearts over, he’s so huge and so loving. I really enjoyed spending time with him while we sat on the grass under some tree shade. We had access to a restroom and shower as well as a room that was like a kitchen with a sink where you can wash some dishes if needed. It is shared with other guest, which is not an issue. This is such a lovely place. And I hope to one day come across this one again. Thank you Tom & Diane for everything.

We loved our stay at Rocking Martini Farm! It was easy to get to, and the camp spot was private and quiet. We enjoyed walking in the orchard, relaxing with a cool beverage under our awning, and watching the resident chickens. We left with a dozen fresh eggs and farm honey too. We are self-contained for boondocking, but if you need water there is a hookup available, and also a minimal 15 amp electrical hookup. Definitely recommend!

Loved the location and the goats and cows! This was the perfect spot for us to attend some 4th of July concerts in Boulder. The tenant on the property was friendly and helpful and our host Jared was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay again but be warned … 1) ask for an address don’t follow the coordinates on Hipcamp or you’ll end up in the neighbors property. 2) The second gate to the camping area is CRAZY tight …just barely enough to squeeze a class c through with mirrors drawn in and not much opportunity to maneuver.
