We had a great experience staying at the A Lodge tent site. The spot felt peaceful, secluded, and safe, especially with a few permanent camper trailers on the property. The location is fantastic, only about 15 minutes from Salida Colorado, making it super convenient for exploring local activities. The amenities building (bathrooms, hot showers, and laundry) was a bit of a walk from our spot, especially on snowy nights or rainy days, so we ended up driving there most of the time. The bathrooms were basic but impressively clean, and the hot showers were a huge plus after a long day out. The host was super nice, he answered the phone immediately when we needed help and was extremely helpful and attentive. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We’d definitely consider coming back!

Whether you’re staying for a night or a month, this place is simply lovely. Waking up to the sounds of the Arkansas River was magical and the amenities were great. The owners were equally as great and so friendly!! We’ll definitely be back!

The resort was great! Well maintained, clean bathrooms and showers. All the campers were respectful of neighbors and quiet time. Close to hiking and other adventures but close enough to Buena Vista to pop in for a burger and a beer. Well use this campground again.

What a beautiful and serene setting! We only got to spend one night but we plan to be back. The river, the sunset, watching deer and geese at the river…perfect! We also enjoyed the amenities: pickleball and pool table. It’s a little pricier than other places we have statues but well worth it.

Located just off the highway north of Buena Vista, the grounds are surprisingly quiet. Hookups and amenities were working and in good shape. Bring a roll of quarters with you if planning on staying long enough to need a shower. The bathrooms are equipped with pay showers-think of quarter-operated car washes as that is how they are. set up.
Very dog friendly, there is a good-sized dog run for your pup.
A short drive to BV for anything you need or might have forgotten.

We had a deluxe river spot and it was wonderful! We loved listening to the water at night. Everyone there was SO helpful, warm, and accommodating!! It was our first time using a camper, but with all of their knowledge and assistance, it was a breeze!! There were so many little conveniences around the park. (Beautiful bathrooms with towels available if you forgot, a little off leash dog area just big enough for those pups that don’t pee on a leash well, darling little market with anything you may have forgotten, laundromat, they’ve thought of it all!) Yes, the spaces are close together so if solitude is what you’re seeking keep looking, but it’s laid out nicely so that you can separate yourself a little. Perfectly shaded, we just had such a great time. Thank you so much to everyone at Four Seasons!!

Nice quiet park no frills but just what we wanted dog park was great gave our dogs a chance to run off leash. We booked a couple days at first then ended staying a week. Great base for your activities.
