Treehouse Magic sits on an 80-acre horse ranch 6476 feet above Sealevel (+ 20 feet for the treehouse!!) Built by hand, with love, and a little help from our friends over a 4-year period. Treehouse Magic is built around PAL an over 80+-year-old Ponderosa Pine. This wonderful space is magical in every way! Only 300 sq. feet with an almost 1100 sq. foot deck, including the covered gnome room. The upstairs bedroom is a full mattress (14" gel mattress). There is also a fold-out couch to sleep 1. The main level couch will fold down and become another bed platform. We provide a CordaRoys transformable chair, that unzips and becomes the bed topper (plus extra sheets, blankets and pillows). Some of the kid guests like to sleep in the Cabana room in the "pop-up" tent and cots! We provide a "smart movie projector" with built-in ROKU, for a movie night...The outdoor kitchen includes a PitBoss pellet smoker/grill, and propane griddle. The kitchen has a 2-burner gas stove and a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a Nature's Head composting toilet... (a little tutorial is needed) a sink and a trough step-in tub/shower with rain head. Wifi- Roku on inside TV as well or just the calm of beautiful nature! Every detail was thought of. A MUST-TRY EXPERIENCE! *Absolutely NO candles or open fires, please!! There is a propane firepit. Maximum of 2 dogs. $40 per dog. Additional rules apply for dog guests and must be cleared with the host prior. Please pick up after your dogs, there are poo-poo bags provided in Treehouse. Please do not leave the dogs unattended EVER in the treehouse, on the deck. Please use dog kennel if needed. This Magical Treehouse and land were everything my family needed and more!! We could not have asked for a more pleasant and peaceful retreat! Marni gave us a rundown of the facilities, and we couldn't have imagined a better stay. From the whimsical hand-crafted beauty of the actual treehouse around "Pal", to the amenities (including games/fun, cooking utilities/supplies, Wi-Fi/TV accommodations and plenty of warmth and cozy blankets and pillows, even full working bathroom facilities), down to the quiet starlit nights including a fire pit on the patio to keep warm while star-gazing! My son especially loved visiting and interacting with the extremely affectionate and friendly free roaming animals we got to interact with and became especially fond of, even giving our own little names to each, as they greeted us kindly several times each day. Only complaint was that we couldn't afford a longer stay!.. as each of us were sad to leave and say goodbye to the relaxing and intimate natured feel of the place, and our very welcoming and accommodating hosts. We felt secure even in the peaceful darkness around us knowing the host's dogs were looking out for us into the night. We will definitely be returning next season for a longer stay if welcomed, as Marni/Frank were on call for any questions or needs, we had throughout the stay, and were exceptionally kind to us as well. We absolutely loved it here! We cannot wait to go back next year. Easy back-in RV spot. Dan met us when we arrived and even helped us set up our pop-up. Our kids loved Dan and all the cool things he had around his property to show them. The wildlife was plentiful!

Absolutely loved this spot! The small cabin is very comfortable & has everything you need in regard to chairs, cookware, etc. My only advice would be to be sure to know your way out because Google maps got me there easily but there’s no cell service so be sure to remember your way back. Beautiful lake & Tim was so helpful!

1 night at 120 Acre Animal Sanctuary
Both the dog and I enjoyed the lazy day and the short walk down the road at dusk to see the large congregation of horses. Plus we had a visit from some wild turkeys. I especially appreciated having the private portable-camp-toilet-in-tent not far off. The equipment was very easy to use. I'm at an age where nature can call at all hours day and night: so this made the stay especially comfortable and worry-free.

We were extremely thrilled to revisit Will and Jake and their campsite. As always the campsite was clean, inviting, and well maintained. Jake cooked for us again and the gourmet burgers did not disappoint. As the last campers of the season, we were pleased to relax in a pine tree haven. Doggie and I loved camping with the Jansmas. They were there to greet us coming in, and the tent and equipment were perfection. Extra bedding, lotion, candles, a solar shower and privvy, all were luxury. The dog so enjoyed being off leash all weekend. The highlight of our stay was the birthday dinner that Jake cooked on the final night, with a special creme brulee for dessert complete with candle. The coyotes (and the highway traffic) were a bit closer than I had realized they would be at times, but the rest of the time was quiet and beautiful. If you come, make sure to stop at Costello's Coffee House. We will be back!

The camp exceeded expectations and Tim was an excellent host. Everything was available to keep someone with the camping spirit occupied. Got to enjoy stores by the fire next to a serene beautiful pond and took the canoe out to visit 'rock island' with the kid. Dog friendly and they might have had the best time of us all. Highly recommended
