Secluded! Cool view on the distant horizon that was about a five minute walk away, and at night looking East over the blinking lights of hundreds (thousands?) of windmills. Not many places you will see this! Dark sky was also good as the Milky Way was directly overhead. Antelope also were around.

It was absolutely beautiful and extremely peaceful! Jamie went above and beyond in communication And making sure she was available to show us to the site! Jamie and her young son showed us the way, he did bike wheelies and double checked to make sure we we’re good while they showed us to our campsite. Couldnt ask for a better or sweeter welcome :) We slept wonderfully and it was extremely peaceful! 15/10!!!

The pasture site was really nice and had some fantastic sunsets. Our host was very communicative and their partner was helpful as well when we pulled through the wrong gate! The sounds of goats and turkeys was a real treat. The two tips we have: we have would be to make sure to go to the dropped pin provided by the host via HipCamp; we put in the address and went through said wrong gate but the pin is exactly where you need to be. Just give a look ahead going through the field, there are a handful of small cactus but totally manageable if you go slow. We will most definitely utilize this camp again! Thank you!

Absolutely fabulous farm complete with goats, chickens, dog run, fresh eggs, a peach tree and amazing hosts. Not to mention the quiet, serene location perfect to relax and chill from your day to day grind. The farm is stunning and well cared for. The hosts could not have been friendlier and more accommodating to anything we needed. In fact we already booked a 2nd week before leaving our first week.

We had a nice time camping for two nights on Jamie's property. The campsite is well maintained with a unique view of the wind turbines. We liked hearing the roosters throughout our trip, and we had a visit during the day from their sweet doggos. We brought our own firewood and had a campfire and some incredible star gazing. We explored the paint mines, which were just a 5 minute drive away. Jamie and her family are super nice and communicative if needed. An A+ experience, thanks again, Jamie!

We really enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth's Hipcamp. She and Red were very welcoming and Roxie and I had many walks around their property, enjoying seeing the chickens, goats, bees, and water area. The sunrises and sunsets from their property were gorgeous and we even saw a few hot air balloons flying over. I got to watch the Beehive check-in and felt very safe here. They gave us a box of fresh eggs, which were so good, I bought another box. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to any of our friends.

Elizabeth & Red were extremely welcoming - showing us where to park and hooking our trailer up with electric. My dog and I enjoyed walking around the property and seeing the chickens wandering around. We were invited to watch the bee hive weekly check-in. Amazing sunrises and sunsets from their property! Plenty places to go for a walk. We even saw a few hot air balloons one morning. Roxie was intrigued by the goats, as they were with her :) We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Hipcamp. They also have a SniffSpot for your dog if interested. We began this venture in 2012 by purchasing 35 acres overlooking a 7000 acre homestead. We are located on the beautiful eastern plains of Colorado southeast of Denver. Rolling hills dotted with Ponderosa pines that encourage wildlife to settle in. Pikes Peak, Longs Peak and Mount Evans all visible on clear days. We have 35 acres and raise alpaca’s, chickens, cats and dogs as well as a large garden. We are totally off grid and enjoy life in the home my husband built using trees he cut down and milled on his sawmill. We lived on the property in a 400sq ft cottage while building the house and this cottage is now available to rent. Water is available outside and the outhouse is just a few steps away. It comes equipped with a woodturning stove you can use to cook on. We added the Bijou Tree House to our options a couple years ago! It is a one room cabin (sleeps 2) with an incredible picture window that frames Pikes Peak beautifully. It is nestle among some old Ponderosa Pines; sports a cute but tiny wood burning stove; bar table in front of the window; deck with seating and a propane camp chef 2 burner stove. A hammock is available for use and private outhouse just a few feet away. Across the gulley is the new Sawmill Cabin built under the canopy of Jim's sawmill. It is small, and can sleep 3 with a unique bunk over a queen sized platform bed. A small deck, fire pit all under a covered open space. More kids? Bring a tent! there’s room! Numerous tent sites are available all within easy walking to your car. An outhouse is close by. We love sharing our story and our home and the beautiful place God has gifted us with people from all over the world and hope to host you as well. Come Camp; and relax. Watch and listen to the birds, deer and antelope really do play here two little fawns were chasing each other through the gully just this morning.
