Sites are secluded and tucked into the sides of the mountain with easy access to vehicles (parked in driveway). Two sites available one with better views and one with better tree coverage. Amenities include potable water, WiFi, access to electronic and gas grills, picnic tables, beautiful sunrises 🌅, and modern out house. We have wildfire restrictions in affect often so please be mindful. 25 minutes to Denver 15 minutes to Red Rocks and Golden 5 minutes to Idaho Springs 10 minutes to Hot Springs 20 minutes to Central City 45 minutes to A-Basin/Keystone

Ft. Poker Night House. It is located in the backyard of our main home.Check-in is self-sufficient if necessary but if we are home, we will happily greet you and show you the ropes. There is a BBQ pit and yard/hammock available for use as well. The Zella Hut is a cabin built in the late 1800's. It was redone in the 70's and recently updated with mid century modern interiors. Now it serves as a backcountry hut in the winter and glamping cabin in the summer. During the winter it can be accessed by skinning, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. During the summer it can be accessed by car. Its a small cabin, but it can sleep 4 in comfort.

One of the Snowbird campsites, along the Timber Lake trail. It was very well maintained. A bull moose walked through my campsite, twice! This is the closest campground to Timber Lake (1/4 mile up the trail) and is very convenient for a dayhike up Mount Ida.
