Swimming in North Fork Tule River, miles of hiking trails on ranch. River Ridge Ranch goes from 1,000' elev. to 3,000' elevation. Hike right on the ranch. We are between Sequoia National Park (about an hour) and the Giant Sequoia National Monument (16 miles to groves up Hwy 190 and no entrance fee). Choose from individual tent sites, group tent sites, tiny cabins. the 5-acre Compound or the Entire Ranch. We occasionally host small, thoughtful, low impact weddings. Please inquire. There are 33 giant sequoia groves in our Southern Region of the Giant Sequoia National Monument, some easily driven to, and some remote. Our ranch is a nature preserve and an education demonstration site, teaching sustainable and regenerative land use practices. River Ridge Institute, our non-profit, hosts a variety of events for the public. Please note: you are expected to leave the ranch and kitchen area as you found it, i.e., dishes washed thoroughly and dried and put away, recycling separated from trash, food scraps in compost buckets, sticky marshmallow removed from forks and surfaces (ick!). Definitely go here! We had a fantastic stay in one of the yurts; Spencer was very welcoming and we loved meeting his dogs. The views are phenomenal, bathrooms are clean, showers had very hot water and great pressure. 10/10 would stay again!

Mark was a very responsive and kind host and also has a very beautiful property. My bestie and I booked a glamping experience and we both had a great time. Neighboring guests who were in tents were also respectful during the quiet hours. So we both were very well rested coming from our trip in Sequioa National Park. Animals on the property were kind too and didn’t bother us. The glamping site was also very clean and cozy. I’d definitely do it again. Sad to have only done it overnight. Still a very affordable option and a convenience if traveling to and from both Sequioa and Kings Canyon National Parks.

The camp is a perfect spot for people looking for communal outdoor recreation, with many friendly animals and amenities. It’s nearby the national parks and Fresno and you will definitely get to know the camp owners and other visitors. I would absolutely return! Be ready for the heat and bring a swimsuit and treats for the animals.

Mona’s place was amazing. It was so peaceful and comforting. The trailer was great and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Dale was so welcoming and was around just in case we needed anything. The kids loved the river and had a blast. I can’t wait to stay here again.

We loved the glamping tent. Even though it was very hot, we were happily surprised to have a cooling fan in the tent. We also really appreciated the access to power to charge our phones. Mark was very helpful throughout our stay and we loved seeing all the animals.

This place was perfect for us and our little boy. Tons of outdoor space for him to get his beans out. Very quiet, comfortable beds, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The area by the river had a giant mulberry tree for him to snack on, and was a nice place to hang out. Mona and Dale were lovely hosts.

We had such a delightful stay at Marks place! The amenities and farm were beautiful and our daughter had a great time saying good morning to the sheep, getting to know the cats, and even picking a few oranges! The tent was comfortable and had everything we needed, including a power cube to charge our phones. Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful - it was magical staying under the olive trees!
