Redwood Ranch in Three Rivers

The ranch is 270 acres with 1800 feet of river frontage.

Private wilderness River Ranch on 270 acres of world-class swimming holes. Cozy, converted Barn completely renovated in 2017! Great for family reunions, yoga, team-building, corporate retreats, weddings and friends getting together. Four miles to the southern gate of Sequoia National Park with great hiking trails, high mountain meadows, and giant groves of Sequoia trees.

This is a working ranch with cattle, horses, donkeys, goats, peacocks and chickens (feel free to gather fresh eggs from our chicken coop!). We do have an occasional bear and deer wandering through as well as foxes, raccoons, and birds galore!

There is approximately 1800 feet of riverfront with many great boulders to lay on after a nice refreshing swim in one of our several massive swimming holes, where you can take an exhilarating dip in total seclusion with a valley of mountains surrounding you.

The Barn is located at the river's edge. It includes an upper self-contained unit consisting of 1 king bed and 1 full bathroom, a children's nook with a full bed (this children’s nook is a miniature room with it’s own door), a kitchen, a family room with a couch, a flat-screen with DirecTV, as well as additional seating, a table and a bar area. Outside the upper unit there is a large deck overlooking the South Fork of the Kaweah River. The lower/ground floor of the Barn has 5 sleeping areas: 3 bedrooms with queen beds as well as 1 bunk-bed room with a full on top and a queen on the bottom. All of these rooms have doors. There is also 1 den connected to the living room (living-room has three large couches) that has a fold-out queen bed. This den area is not separated by a doorway but instead by curtains (for privacy and blackout) and connects to the living room through an alcove. Downstairs, there are 2 full bathrooms, a kitchen, a game room with a pool & card tables and a flat-screen with DirecTV and a dvd player. Outside, there is a large patio with an extra-long bench seating/eating area with huge 8-foot custom BBQ. Upstairs and downstairs, the Barn sleeps 16 comfortably. The BBQ has cooked for 100 guests! The rate for the Barn includes a 10% occupancy tax (required by the state) and $350 cleaning fee. This rental has a two-day minimum. We allow up to 16 guests for this rate- for additional guests or campers, there is a $25 per guest/per night fee.

In renting Redwood Ranch, you will ensure total privacy and that you will be the only guests with access to the 270 acres, the 1800 feet of river frontage with breathtaking tranquil and secluded swimming holes and a hiking/jogging/walking trail that loops around the property. OrangeRay~Three Rivers

OrangeRay, home of Pixie's Place Animal Sanctuary & Hospice was founded in 2007, when I left L.A. for the forest by the river to create, and to expand my shamanic pursuits. Being that Three Rivers was home to the socialist Kaweah Colony in the 1800's; which helped in the founding of Sequoia National Park; the area is rich in history. Poet John Muir was enchanted and inspired by this area; Walt Disney fell under her spell as well when he envisioned a "Swiss Chalet" style resort which never came to fruition. The water wars of California began right here; gold rush...right here!
"Kaweah" is the name given by the Indians for the sound the Crow makes. Three Rivers literally sits on slabs of quartz crystal, making rock hunting superb! As an energy practitioner, the quartz heightens the healing process; as well as creating an energy vortex.
My property sits on an area that was once an Indian village, and then the school house for the children of the pioneers. There was a huge Hare Krishna Colony up here in the 60-70's.
As a photographer and filmmaker, the lighting up here is amazing! The night skies literally pulsate with their celestial canopy. A great spot to sky watch as well!
The property is not kid-friendly, and is not really here for children as much as it is offered for the inner child in adults. WE ARE 420 friendly which is in opposition to most "family" landscapes....so please note this is not personal but I prefer no children xo
Also, I prefer no pets, as it disrupts the balance here with the animal residents :)

The oven is not set up for use, there is a communal propane BBQ Grill around the front of the barn; mini fridge plus vintage "ice box". You fill the top section with ice to maintain a cold box. Coffee maker.

Blue Moon Orchard

This place is our sanctuary, our own private slice of heaven.  There is an abundance of love and peace here on the farm...even the animals are full of love and affection.  Some of the Olive Trees in our Orchard have been here for over 100 years!! The soil is rich and healthy. We use no fertilizers or pesticides preferring to let nature do her thing.Learn more about this land:Camp in our Orchard!  We are a small Olive and Citrus orchard and ranch.  There are lots of Olives & Citrus during their seasons. Olives Sept-Dec Citrus Dec-May. The Ranch consists of Chickens, Sheep, Goats, Cats, and our ranch dog Merlin.  2 miles to Kaweah Lake with fishing boats, patio boats available to rent from the marina. 15 miles to the quaint town of Three Rivers...River Rafting, fishing etc. 20 miles to the Visitor Center of Sequoia National Forest. Near Mineral King hiking trails. 37 miles to The General Sherman.

Five Fours Camp in Three Rivers

This is essentially a private campsite with a million dollar view!  We are no longer opening the bunkhouse campsite; so that spot is now another area for your group to hang out!

Three rivers, California is more of a small village than a town; where both the longtime and new residents are friendly and welcoming.  Because 3R is the lower gateway of the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National parks, it gets enough tourist traffic to support some unique little restaurants and shops! 

Our hillside property has great mountain views on 2.25 serene stepped acres. Our driveway turns directly off of Sierra drive, four miles past the town center (3R post office) and just 2 miles from the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks entrance - so it's really easy to find!  Five Fours Camp is up a private driveway, leaving the roadway below. You can't see it; but you can still hear the tranqual sound of the Kaweah River flowing across the street. 

Sorry, there is NO river access from this campsite.  I know! We were heartbroken too when we found out we couldn't just cross the street and swim!  You CAN go to Slick Rock and swim, boat, fish and more - about 8 miles away.

My wife Elizabeth and I bought our log home in 2015 and we have been dreaming and building here ever since! Our beloved older dog Ruby was rescued shortly after we bought. Our boy Chance was rescued during the beginning of the pandemic.  They chase all the fun wildlife off of their property! In addition to deer, we have seen fox, bob cats, an Ocelot, too many coyotes, wild turkeys and bear crossing an animal highway along our upper hillside property line.  Hawks, hummingbirds, quail, blue birds, woodpeckers and Sime yellow bellied finches are regularly seen here all over as well.  Owls have been heard; but not seen.

We love our mountain views and look forward to sharing them with you!

You can drive into this campsite, so it is ideal for vans or trucks with platforms with tents, etc.

Slick rock is just about 10 min down the road and so beautiful! 

Moro Rock View

Stop and stay night in our Upstairs Bed and Bath Studio with toilet and shower. We also have a day camp for use upon request.

Our 17-Acre property has a great view of Moro Rock. We are right off Sierra Dr. (Hwy-198) and just 4 miles from the Sequoia National Park. We have parking for car, truck and trailer or boat & RV's. 

Our Studio B and B has a queen bed and sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom and shower.

Our Day Camp has a picnic table, umbrella, chairs and BBQ.
