Most campsites are accessible by car and all campsites are accessible by foot. PLEASE NOTE, we do not have a traditional check in procedure. Campsites are first come first serve. Expect a "self-check in process" most of the time. However, there are sometimes people working onsite that you may run into, that are happy to help and lead you in the right direction. You choose your own campsite so plan to arrive early. You can park and walk around. There is signage that says "CAMP" with Arrows. BYO water. We have sulfur spring water. Great for your skin, not good to drink! There's a couple outhouses on the property. One in the main camp zone, one at the far north end of the lower Redwood campsite. You can also bring a shovel and take a walk if you're in the more remote campsites. We have a dumpster outside the gate for your garbage. IMPORTANT INFO Please don't mind our farm junk/tools as you enterGate 1! We are slowly working on clean up and relocation of materials from the entry road and away from view. Before you arrive, have knowledge of poison oak because it is a native plant. The main photos in the listing are taken from Hipcamp Scouts back in 2018 and they are featuring our Original campsite. This is located past the mineral baths. It's the furthest one to reach, and accessible by foot. SULFUR MINERAL BATHS Include in your experience the use of our sulfur mineral baths. It's $10 per person. PLEASE BOOK THIS AS AN EXTRA AT CHECKOUT. The mineral baths are 2 funky vintage clawfoot tubs that are pictured in the actual listing.The photos show an accurate description of the Mineral Baths. They are not located in the main camp zone. It's primitive camping on a private property with bonuses like the garden, rustic baths, and beautiful nature. This property has been a working farm for decades, which has struggled with hard times. If farm yards/junk piles make you uncomfortable or give you a creepy feeling, don't book because our boneyard is adjacent to the entry road and it can't be ignored. Our ranch was once home to a horse boarding and breeding ranch which bred Paso Fino horses, known for their beautiful gait. Having been a horse ranch, it left us with some nice trails that you can enjoy during your stay. We have some nice uphill walks to view your local surroundings while sitting to enjoy a glass of wine or you morning cup of coffee/tea. We are on a well out here so at times you may get a sulphur/mineral smell to the water. Please bring your own drinking/cooking water. It is safe to shower, my hair feels so much thicker! On the ranch you will see that we have 2 donkeys, Desi (black) and Lucy (light grey). Along with our donkeys we have to friendly goats, Fiona (brown) and Sadie (white), they love carrots. but please stick to one carrot a day each, we don't want to over feed them. We also have chickens which means have farm fresh eggs. $5 for 1/2 dozen. Up on the hill you will see Connie a cow and her buddy Samuel, the bull. they love carrots but please do not go into their pasture. She'll think you're bringing food and gets very dangerously excited. Please feel free to walk the property and become one with nature while observing the local indigenous floral and fauna.

We had a fantastic time at vinyl vinyards. It was not only beautiful but it had everything we needed. There was only one thing that might have enhanced our stay. Our host let us know in advance that there was a heater in the camper but we couldn't get it to work. Other than that, we really enjoyed it! Would love to go back!

Weekend Trip to Creekside Camping and Mineral Baths

My boyfriend, small dog and I stayed for a night. We wanted something inexpensive where we could drive right up to the site, had someone on site because we had never been to the area and were getting in after sunset, and was in a wooded rural surrounding. The hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable. One of them met us at the entrance & took us around the property to explain the different site options (we were the only ones there! There were 8 different sites - all fairly close to each other, but I could tell that if multiple were full - you’d still have your own private space.) They brought us firewood and helped us set up our fire! I saw some negative reviews about the junk yard … which I’m confused about?! I thought it was super cool. It’s not anywhere near where you actually camp… it’s right when you pull onto the land and then you drive probably half a mile into the woods. It was cool to see all the stuff they have collected. From airstreams, to big CATS, cars, etc. Yea, can look a little eerie at first, but it’s apart of the experience. good place to stop and camp for a night when you are in between your trip. It’s super close to the town of Cambria - which has a ton of little restaurants, bars, etc. tons of farm animals surrounding. One of the guys who lives on site there, Rob, has starlink at his house and allows you to connect to it! Thanks Guys, you made us feel very safe. 👍

Camping spot was awesome! Super clean, hammocks, weatherproof chairs and outdoor table at site. Quiet and yet not too far away from the town. Bathrooms are maintained & clean. Nicley decorated too. Sunset Hill is a gem

My partner and I stayed here for a couple of days mid-week, and it was divine. We hiked up the creek and took a little dip, visited the old mines, soaked in the mineral baths, and enjoyed the serene nature. The people who live on the property are also incredibly friendly and helpful. Such good energy! We will definitely be coming back!

Weekend Trip to Mercey Hot Springs Resort

Just can't beat floating in an 80 degree pool under the stars! Everyone was very friendly and the amenities were wonderful. The private bathrooms and showers were lovely (although they are salt/ mineral water). The individual hot springs tubs were a great way to enjoy the magic power of hot springs and our campsite was wonderful

We had a great stay in tent/rv site #8! Beautiful sunset and sunrise over the hills. Clean facilities, including warm showers! Super friendly hosts that were kind enough to let our kids meet the adorable alpacas. Also in such a great location - only minutes to town. Would love to come back to try the airstreams!

This was the perfect little spot to set up our tent for the night on a road trip up the coast. Just far enough off the beaten path to be quiet and restful, yet still close to the amenities of town and didn't take us too far out of our way. The spot was clean and private enough, with a bathroom nearby. And it was a treat to wake to the donkeys sweet braying!

My daughter and I stayed one night while on a road trip up the 101. It was super cute and everyone was so friendly. It's a working farm so even though there was no one to greet us when we arrived the signs direct you where to go and we got set up no problem. It's maintained but more wild, rustic nature, definitely not a glamping situation, just a heads up if that's not your style-we're used to backcountry and primitive camping so were self contained and prepared but there was running water and even a flush toilet in the outhouse. While we were exploring everyone we came across stopped to chat and were all very welcoming. I forget his name (Rob or Bob maybe?) but the gentleman who lives in the cabin closest to the campsites was so nice, he showed us where a cool hike was that went to a stream and swimspot and even gave us plums straight from the tree by where we were camped! It's an easy drive not too far from the town of Cambria so you can enjoy the beach all day then head out to camp under the trees. Would definitely return.

Took my wife, our 2 dogs and I to a weekend camping at this place and couldn’t have a better time! The mineral bath experience was absolutely amazing! Also, the guy (I forgot his name) that lives close to the camp sites was very friendly, welcoming and helpful! He even gave us local grown cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, and much more! I wish I could post a picture

Beautiful property, feels private, beautiful stream. Our dog loved it and it was super quiet. You are definitely roughing it and expect that. We especially loved neighboring town Cambria .

Rob, the caretaker was so kind and generous with our kids, showing them the farm and explaining all the ins and outs. It’s a hidden gem, quiet and peaceful, 20 minutes from the gorgeous beaches and town of Cambria. There’s so much to enjoy here on the central coast. We came with 6 kids. It’s also great for adults only. The campsites are spread apart and the grounds are shady, quiet and great for healing from the sounds and pace of the city.
