The dream catcher exceed my expectations and was so cute and cozy, had a lot of extra amenities such as a propane fire pit, hot running water and a flushable toilet and the host so graciously provided towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash and a hair dryer! The setting itself is so beautiful and has an amazing view. The “kitchen” provided has a few things but I would recommend bringing your own equipment for cooking. Lastly, the bed is very firm and unfortunately we were unable to sleep well on it at all, we used some of the outdoor chair cushions to add some extra comfort to it which helped us sleep better the second night but if you aren’t used to an extra firm mattress I would recommend bringing some extra cushion/padding. I would definitely go back again despite this as we had a lovely time. We were lucky enough to have the property to ourselves that weekend so our experience was very private but would just like to mention that the dream catcher site is located between the two other main camping sites on this property. Otherwise this place was super cool and definitely a neat find!

The Dream Catcher site was so awesome! Everything from the outdoor bathtub for an evening soak to the warmth from the heater made for a great visit. The sunset and rise from the property are also to die for! I would recommend this property to anyone that is planning on visiting the area! My pup also loved the freedom of running around the site!

Weekend Trip to Rancho Rio Del Sol: Paso Robles, CA
I originally booked the Dream Catcher, but due to repairs, Laura kindly upgraded us to the Tiny Home! A kind host, they would answer my every Q and offer if we needed anything extra like more charcoal to grill.
Upon walking in, you will be blown away 😍 A cozy, vintage & artistic gem, lots of unique decor 🌱 We spun some vinyl, danced under the dimmed lighting, enjoyed homemade meals on the patio, stargazed 🌌 and took in those sunrise views 🌄
It did get a bit chilly at night, but the space heater worked well and the bed was very comfy 😌 WiFi was also steady for streaming movies.
Now, the stairs to the sleeping loft / reading nook are steep & narrow — so it can be tricky for those with mobility or body-size considerations. Also, the hot water lasted about 5 minutes before turning lukewarm — just something to be aware of. On the other hand, really appreciated the cleaning supplies & disinfectant sprays that were provided 🧽
All in all, this is truly an ideal stay. From being only 15 minutes away from the world-famous Sensorio Light Exhibit, to then beautiful drives towards the coast, this made for a wonderful getaway. We hope to be able to return down the line 🥰

This is probably one of my favorite hipcamps I ever stayed at. Everything is so thoughtfully curated for you, it made my stay super comfy. The only thing I brought of my own was my cooking set up, but other than that this place has everything you could need. It felt private, the views were spectacular and it’s close to whatever activity you’ve got on your list. It was lovely for a solo trip and I look forward to return with good company. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Rancho Rio Del Sol: Paso Robles, CA
We visited the tiny Dreamcatcher for our anniversary weekend in Paso Robles and loved it. It was so peaceful there, and despite the fact we were there in the middle of July, we love the cool breeze that kissed us through the canyons. We cooked 3 meals while there, soaked in the outdoor tub, stargazed on the deck, and just enjoyed the peacefulness of the property!
Definitely bring a box of camping stuff if you plan to cook meals. They have some kitchen stuff available, but not everything. The bed was also short, so if you are tall, that is something to consider.. One side of the bed does have a foot extension for a pillow…so we made that work.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to friends. Thank you, Dreamcatcher.!

The little vintage trailer was a really fun place to spend a couple of nights on our vacation in Paso Robles! We really enjoyed having the opportunity to have a quiet, peaceful, private place to relax and take in the views. The outdoor cat, Rose, was a very snuggly kitty, and it was sweet having her greet us whenever we were around. The whole outdoor sitting area was lovely - twinkly lights, a deck, chairs, a propane fire pit, an outdoor refrigerator, and lovely plantings of succulents and cacti made the place beautiful! The outdoor hot/cold tub was a neat addition to the space as well, and the fully plumbed outhouse was great. If you are looking for a unique glamping experience, we definitely recommend this place! We would be happy to visit this location again.

The view was stunning from the deck of the Dreamcatcher! Directions, check in and check out were a breeze. Really enjoyed the bathroom and shower set up! An easy 15 minutes to downtown and Sensorio. Rose, the cat, is a sweetheart and only wanted cuddles and snacks. We were sad to see her sleeping outside and drinking from the outdoor pipes.....

Our weekend stay at the Dream Catcher Vintage Trailer was excellent! All the amenities were perfect for a couple of boondockers looking for a more luxurious and peaceful stay while exploring Paso Robles and Highway 1. The trailer is a great size for 2 humans and a dog and provides enough space to hunker down and relax even when it is drizzling a little bit.
Outdoor tub is AWESOME; easy to fill and the cast iron tub keeps the water hot for so long. Everything, property, trailer, shower/bathroom is super clean and well taken care of, and we experienced zero issues during the 2 day visit.
Highly recommend for anyone who's looking for a unique trailer camping experience, without the boring, modern RV style and a beautiful property to relax on.

I enjoyed so much staying the weekend at Rancho Rio de Sol. Sunrise and sunset are spectaculars and the views are amazing.
The tiny house is cozy and unique, and it has a enjoyable space.
And Rose and Dorothy are lovely (barn cats) ;-)

If you’re even remotely considering booking the Dreamcatcher, stop thinking and do it. This was literally the best glamping experience I’ve ever had; and that’s saying a lot.
Rose and Dorothy the outdoor cats, were the nicest and most respectful cats. If you want space, tell them. But they love scratches and curling up next to the bonfire pit and cuddle together. The entire vibe - just, perfect.
I will be returning asap.

The Dreamcatcher provided a serene retreat in a beautiful landscape. The layout of the site itself was thoughtfully and carefully laid out to maximize both space and privacy. Upon arrival Laura took care to ensure I felt safe and comfortable, which I greatly appreciated, especially as a solo woman traveler. Laura provided exceptional communication and was quickly responsive to any questions I had.
In the evening I relaxed in the tub and was lucky to hear two great horned owls calling nearby. Afterwards, I enjoyed the night sky by the firepit. The Dreamcatcher itself provided a cozy and secure shelter even during a wind and rain storm. I especially loved the electric fireplace. In the morning, I walked up the dirt road in search of local birds and took in the stunning sunrise.
I highly recommend the Dreamcatcher, especially for single travelers. And I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again in the future.

Rustic glamping. The best part was view from the site deck. The trailer is small and comfy below freezing at night the trailer stayed warm. The bathroom trailer was cold even with the provided heater, but the shower was hot. Recommend a shade sail as there was no place to get out of the sun. We were the only renter as we could tell. Definitely a return location.

Dream Catcher is a beauty!!! Had all the necessities needed for the perfect glamping experience. Readily available hot water for a nice soak in the outdoor tub. Nights are perfect for stargazing. The wooden deck has gorgeous views and was perfect for morning meditations. Fire pit kept us nice and cozy in the evening. Host was very attentive with booking a last minute reservation on New Year’s Eve. Sitting on 10 acres this is a very private and peaceful property. We will be back!!!

Where to go
San Luis Obispo County
A stay in Paso Robles means easy access to the many attractions and communities in the surrounding SLO County. Popular destinations include Morro Bay State Park and its year-round campground, known for its kayaking near Morro Rock, golf course, and natural history museum, and Hearst Castle, a 19th-century mansion that now operates as a museum. Sea otters and spouting whales are a common sight, so don't forget binoculars.
Big Sur
One of the most beautiful parts of California’s Central Coast, Big Sur draws in crowds with its cliff-lined coastal views and huge state parks. This area was made famous by Henry Miller and his contemporaries and has a large counterculture community to this day.
Los Padres National Forest
If you want to get out and explore in the woods, Los Padres National Forest is the place to do it, with miles of hiking trails and massive expanses of protected wilderness. There’s a lot to cover—around 2 million acres in total.
When to go
Paso Robles's inland location means that it tends to be considerably warmer than nearby coastal communities. Summers are hot and dry, with highs in the 90s and wine tasting crowds, and it's rare that it drops below freezing in winter, even at night. Winter is the rainy season—if you're planning a January trip, remember your rain gear. There are plenty of events throughout the year, from the Paso Wine Fest held every May to the annual Pioneer Day, held on the second Saturday of October.
