The Unhitched Ranch is a family run Clydesdale and Texas Longhorn Ranch. Clydesdales and Texas Longhorns have been the focus of the family owned and operated ranch. The Ranch is approximately 40 acres and is tucked away in a very unique area of Southern California and has spectacular views of the local mountains and city lights. This quaint little canyon is nestled between Loma Linda and Moreno Valley, and is home to about 800 free roaming wild burros that visit frequently.Recently we have added a Gazebo that you can camp near or under as well a a horseshoe pit, and tether ball.  We typically only open the ranch to one group of campers at a time so more than likely you will be alone with us on the ranch.  There is plenty of room for larger groups, feel free to contact us

We are a BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ friendly location. Our family home is conveniently located just off of Highway 14, along Sierra Highway, in Acton, CA. We offer parking in our large driveway with hookups for electricity and well water. You can save money by boondocking if you don't need to plug in or use well water -- just add it as an extra. Please fill your tanks with potable water and/or bring drinking water. Our well water is very hard so we filter. No black water disposal. There are no toilets, laundry, or other amenities. We currently do not have garbage disposal, but will again soon. No smoking or fires allowed. No exceptions. This is a high risk fire area.   No leaking vehicles. A $400 fee to cleanup any vehicle leaks. No working on vehicles on the property.

We are very glad you found us! Our hours are from 9am to 5pm everyday. Check in time starts at noon. Accommodations include fully furnished cabins, RV sites, and tent camping. The campground includes a lake with a waterfall, a sandy beach, lake toys, and catch & release fishing. Additional amenities include a Pickleball Court, shuffleboard, Pool Table, fire pits, picnic tables, hiking trails, and more!

Quiet RV spot located on private 5 acres surrounded by small farms and dozens of wineries. Water hookup, 50 amp hookup, and septic tank available. Enjoy hot air balloons first thing in the morning from the comfort of the site. (weather dependent) Minutes away from the wineries but far enough away from the city lights and noise. Great place for quiet evenings, warm fires, secluded ambience and star gazing. Right around the corner from Lake Skinner which has various festivals and events, boating rental, fishing activities allowed, hiking, and lots of nature watching. Open to discounted long term stays. Nadiya- was extremely helpful and accomodating. The site was great, quiet. All the amenities were available as decribed. Location is great and near all the Wineries. Lake skinner is less than 20 minutes away. We had a great time I would stay here again when visting Temecula.

This quiet, stargazing place is excellent. First time RVers and this was an amazing experience. Because of the privacy, we were able to explore our RV without the pressure of parking, hooking up, unhitching, etc. The hosts are great, helpful and allow you to enjoy your stay. The place was amazing. I do wish the tent sites were further into the park so the noise from the road wasn’t there (more nature) but the place and the people who work there were all amazing. The cabins looked extremely nice. Will try that next time. Nice cold water to swim in. Things to rent. The Hawaiian ice woman April was a real treat. Overall lots to do with your kids. Will go again.

The place was clean and very well maintained. Every staff member that we interacted with was super friendly and helpful. We also felt safe in the campground. There were plenty of family friendly activities to engage in.

Easy to set up on the drive thru drive way. No need to back up! Right by freeway access so it was easy to go visit all the things we wanted to on our vacation. Power hookups was convenient. No water hookup but had well water to fill our RV. Great spot to camp!
