Learn more about this land Very remote off grid barn with an outhouse, vegetable garden, fruit trees, and small vineyard that I make wine from. There's a creek that runs through the property with Indian grinding holes. We also have volleyball, horseshoes, hiking trails, and much more! You will be in gold country where you can still find gold in the creek to this day! If you're lucky, you might find a nugget, but there's mostly pickers and fines. The nights are absolutely stunning for viewing the stars with no light pollution.  You will have almost complete privacy, with the exception of an occasional over head aircraft. Home is one floor with front and back porches. Our unique property is an old working ranch with 35 acres of meadows, an old cabin, barn, natural springs, an inground pool, hot tub and swimming cistern. Our guest house is near the road and easily accessible but still very private. Roads are flat and parking easy. You have full and private access to the house, hot tub and pool areas. Near the pools: outdoor shower, sink, lounge chairs, covered and sunny areas. Our pools are not heated (and do not have the ability to be heated) and are covered in the winter months (November to April). Extra large living and dining room. 2 couches, 2 large dining room tables, smart tv, bluetooth speaker, games, pub table. Come enjoy the fresh air and quiet at this relaxing and serene 3bd/1.5 bath 1968 groovy A-frame cabin. Great WIFI! Located on 1.5 wooded acres, the backyard is the Calaveras Big Trees State Park. The cabin has a huge redwood deck surrounded by blooming Dogwoods during the springtime. Our year-round Moran Creek runs on the edge of the property. All wood inside: tongue-in-groove pine ceilings and walnut paneling, large wood-burning stove which has three flat places to cook. We offer a fully stocked kitchen with vintage pink and white formica counters and breakfast bar which seats four. Dining on resin-topped circular table made by designer of first chair-lift in Squaw Valley. Gigantic redwood wrap-around deck set up with comfy furniture, table and chairs to enjoy the bliss of Big Trees-Calaveras State Park. I booked the lake view cabin to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The cabin itself was super cute, cozy, and had large windows perfect for stargazing at night. The view from the cabin was absolutely epic — both sunrise and sunset were breathtaking, and the lake was stunningly beautiful. The property has a lovely rustic charm with friendly animals like dogs, hens, sheep, goats, lambs, and a horse. There’s even a kayak available if you want to explore the lake, which we really enjoyed. Jeremy was an amazing host — friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond by arranging a beautiful bouquet for my wife at my request. He patiently answered all my questions since it was my first glamping experience, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. One small note for first-time campers: the portable toilet is a bit away from the cabin and doesn’t have a traditional flush, so it might be an adjustment at first. Overall, we had an incredible stay and would definitely love to come back again — next time with our friends! ⭐ Rating: 5/5 — Highly recommended!

Mac’s cabin was a comfortable and beautiful experience. We enjoyed each moment that he came by and spoke with us. He took the time to check in on us with friendly laughter. The restrooms and showers were very conveniently located. The amenities like the microwave and heater were very handy. At the end of our trip, Mac was very friendly enough to leave us with hand picked tomatoes and a watermelon from his garden. Not to mention that I made an oversight on our trip dates and Mac was more than accommodating to push up our stay and adjust the dates. He’s very helpful and his campground is top notch across the board. Highly recommend would come again.

Had a wonderful time at this site! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how open and spacious the property is. There’s so much room to spread out, relax, and really take in the natural beauty of the area. Whether you’re coming with family, a group of friends, or bringing your dogs along, this place has the perfect setup to make everyone feel at home and comfortable. The cabin was clean, cozy, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed — you can really tell a lot of thought and care has gone into making it feel welcoming. The site also offers a great selection of games and activities, which kept both the kids and adults happily entertained for hours. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. Steven and Michelle were so kind and super responsive to any questions or needs we had. Looking forward to booking again in the future !

We had an amazing time at Jeremy's place! Jeremy was so kind and hospitable. He had great recommendations for food and places to go. The kids loved being able to gather chicken eggs each morning to eat. His dogs Juno, Luna, and Willow were the sweetest. We loved being able to hang out with the horses and the goats as well. It was an experience of a lifetime to be able to wake up and see the sunrise and the lake. We loved being able to go down to the lake to fish and ride the kayaks as well.

Had a nice weekend stay. The cabin is nice and stocked with towels, dishes, and cookware. There was a leak so we could not use the jacuzzi tub. We went to the White Pines Lake which was fun. The area is beautiful. Carlos was very responsive and helped with any issues we had.

Jeremy is an amazing host and the tree house was the perfect stay for us. It’s centrally located to beautiful forests and trails and the town of Murphy (with a wonderful park and creek for kids to play). The bathrooms were so clean, having a mini fridge was great, and evenings on the porch were idyllic. Jeremy was quick to respond, gave great restaurant recommendations, and was understanding when we had to leave a day early due to an emergency. We will definitely be back again!
