Yes, we provide propane for the propane fire pits. Yes, your dog can run off-leash. Yes, each site has a picnic table, umbrella, propane fire pit. Most sites have a hammock and hammock stand. Please pack your trash out there is a dumpster at the front gate entrance/exit for your trash. Please close your umbrella when your not at the site, especially when it's windy. This place was just what we were looking for. A quiet getaway in a beautiful setting. There is a farm and our toddler loved seeing the goats, chickens and donkey. We were shown great hospitality from the host and made us feel at home. Great hikes right outside the door! We were even able to purchase some meat and eggs from the farm! A unique experience all around, would highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Gaia Farm Campground

I'm so lucky I found Gaia farms - the location is stunningly beautiful, the accommodations were cozy, Amanda was generous, friendly, kind, and I got to hold a baby goat! It was truly a special experience. I cannot recommend a visit enough and hope for the chance to return. We stayed in the yurt, enjoying privacy, quiet, comfort, and VIEWS! The pictures can't even capture how gorgeous the views were. We watched the sun set pink over the mountains and ocean, saw shooting stars all night, and then the clouds settled below us at dawn. Weekend Trip to Cuyama Oaks Ranch

We had a small group come up to Nathan's ranch for my sister's birthday, and we rented out two of the glamping sites. We had so much fun, and it was awesome being away from the city with such amazing views. Seriously, the mountains were insane, and I don't think I've ever seen the Milky Way so clearly. Nathan was lovely, as are the animals—everyone should do the petting zoo. Definitely bring your earplugs if you're in Pink Pony #1 (the rooster is an early riser!) We'll be back for sure :)

My friends and I agreed that there’s no more beautiful place to play card games and cook Mac and cheese than this yurt! Amanda was the most kind and welcoming host. Don’t miss out on holding a baby goat or buying some goats milk lotion or soap, these additions really made our day! Such a special place, we feel so lucky to have stayed a night here. So worth it!

The yurt was in a stunning location and hosted by such a welcoming family. Amazing views and awesome rock formations, just up the mountain from a great beach. Beds were super comfy cozy, outdoor seating area great for taking it all in. Plus, baby goats!!! This was our very first Hipcamp experience and it was overall awesome. And the farm-made goat milk soap smells amazing.

What a wonderful place to stay!! The glamping tent and bed were super comfortable with all we needed. Loved looking out our “door” at the fountain in the pond and hearing the flow of water. Beautiful starlit skies away from city. Fun to feed the sheep, goats, and pigs. Also, we adored the company of our gentle dog host!! 💕 Great place!!

3 nights at North Fork Ranch (Horses Welcome)

Everything about our stay was absolutely lovely. The home itself is warm and inviting with everything I needed to cook there and enjoy a nice weekend away. It’s also surrounded by a private fence so it made us feel even more disconnected from the world, making our trip that much more relaxing. Definitely a place worth staying over and over again. The bed was super comfortable and there was almost no outside noise to disturb us but the best part had to be the stargazing. The view of the night time sky was breathtaking. This has been my favorite place to stay.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views that surrounded us—rolling fields, lush greenery, and the tranquil pond creating the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable getaway. The pond was a highlight of the trip—whether it was kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing by the water, it offered endless fun and serenity. The farm animals were absolutely delightful; we loved interacting with the friendly goats, chickens, and other animals, making it a truly authentic farm experience. A special shoutout to the staff, who were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Their friendly attitude and attentiveness made us feel right at home and enhanced the entire experience. Overall, this camping trip was a fantastic escape for adventure and relaxation. We’re already looking forward to our next visit—highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, scenic, and memorable outdoor adventure!

Weekend Trip to Freedog Farms @ Cactus Flower Ranch

We were only able to stay 1 night but it was truly an amazing experience. Sierra and Darin have built an amazing space on such a beautiful property of land. From the first second we met them, they were very welcoming. They made us feel like we were home. Their hard work in the whole space shows. We brought our Australian Shepherd with us, who didn’t want to leave. We are 11/10 coming back, hopefully for more than just one night. I recommend for anybody that wants/needs to be surrounded by nature and good people.

What a gem! Beautiful setting, easy access, super clean and comfy bed set up in the glamping tent. Bathroom was sparkling too! Only minor annoyance was the amount of tiny flies milling around, but that’s totally to be expected when you’re camping alongside a picturesque pond. We may just stop there again on our way back home!

We had the absolute best time at Gaia farm! The yurt was gorgeous. It was spacious and had everything we needed. The views and smells of the land were spectacular. The animals were adorable and sweet. The food and products available for purchase were high quality. And Amanda was a spectacular host. She was always ready to help us and her kindness shined through. Her and her family’s love is visible across this beautiful property. All of us agreed that we had to come again. Great escape from the city and a super reasonable drive from LA. Super versatile stay — quiet and peaceful with lots of open land and grass, mountains in the backdrop, kayaking and paddle boating on the pond, and even some farm animals. It’s also fairly close to stores and the city. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to escape the city for a bit without much planning or sacrificing too much convenience.

Charles was a great host. The vintage Airstream was very cool (original wood paneling) and extremely comfortable. The location was very peaceful and quiet, yet very close to all of our activities in and around Santa Barbara. Very satisfied and would visit again.
