This was the most fun quick getaway for our families! Exactly as described, beautifully maintained property, incredible hosts. High end blankets and towels, very clean dry flush toilet, and so many cozy seating options. My kids loved the welcome shed, and there were too many thoughtful personal touches to mention. The location is incredible. we explored grass Valley and Nevada city, both had a great selection of well appointed shops and restaurants and were less than a 15 minute drive from the property. We can’t wait to come back in the summer!

We LOVED this yurt. So peaceful and cozy. Easy to find, close to Nevada City, but feels private and secluded. The wood burning sauna and outdoor tub were great, as was the shower at the yurt. Had a great experience, and will definitely be back.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The woodfired sauna and outdoor tub under the stars or just what my husband and I needed. We really enjoyed the yurt space and the bed was very comfy. We will definitely go back. Just an FYI, for people looking this is a rustic experience - compost toilet, no wifi, so if you’re looking for something a bit refined, this might not be as awesome for you as it was for us.

What a beautiful campsite for our large group of 15! We had a great time with plenty of space to spread out. The bathrooms were conveniently located near our site and kept clean. River access was such a gem and made the stay even more special. There was plenty of shade to stay cool when needed, which was a big plus. Had an amazing time at site 6! I think it’s the best site at this campground. It was perfectly shaded and so close to the river. The only downside is that it was far from the shower and flush toilets. We had a group of 8 and had three large tents on the site, and still had plenty of space for our tables and chairs. Matt was so great and informative about the area. We will definitely be coming again!

We stayed at campsite 6 and it was very spacious, a 2 minute walk from the water, and enough space away from the other campsites to feel like your out in the woods by yourself, yet still close enough to the water to hear it when your going to sleep. Spent the whole day by the water relaxing with family, and loved every minute. Will definitely be back.

10 out of 10 experience. First of all Matt the camp host was able to answer any question promptly before the trip. On arrival the camp was clean and propane fire pit was at ready to use. The site had plenty of room and lots of distance between sites. The beach was an easy walk and great for the kids. When the water goes up it does get small, but in the morning and evening there was plenty of room. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was clutch. Can’t wait to stay here again. Very nice, private camping spot, kept clean and with provided propane fire pit to use since open fire is not permitted, very clean bathrooms (both portapotties and regular bathrooms), Matt was very available to help with anything. The site and river were amazing.
