This site was perfect to escape the city and be able to take in the quiet night sky.
There are some homes nearby so you don't feel totally freaked out, but you have plenty of privacy. Having our own out house made a huge difference and it was clean.
Directions are perfect and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

What a great little dispersed-feeling camping area. We had it to ourselves, the outhouse was a bonus and the kids loved exploring the varied plant life. Heard coyotes and saw every star possible. Super easy commute to Joshua Tree and the oasis in Palm Springs. Great to come back to after a day of bouldering.

Weekend Trip to JT High desert Hideout
We had a great time at the hideout! The yurt was exactly as pictured, with plenty of amenities. We came on a rainy weekend, the heater and extra blankets were helpful. Jana was a great host!

Angel's Nest is a gem - especially at the price! It's a beautiful mountain cabin that has family entertainment in mind. We played shuffleboard all afternoon and switched it up with the arcade machine and basketball; the kids had a blast! Really lovely kitchen, bedrooms and living areas as well! Great for a family mountain getaway. Only warning is: there are lots of stairs and a very steep driveway. Keep that in mind when if that's an issue for you. Martin was also very responsive and hospitable! We will definitely be back!

This was our third stay at Deb's Place and it never disappoints! Deb had made some changes to the campsites over the summer and makes me love our site #7 even more! The facilities and sites are always impeccably clean, well maintained, and well stocked. Even with it being 'close' to the rt 247, you still feel like you are a bit isolated but it makes getting down to Yucca Valley/JT easy! Thank you, Deb, for providing a wonderful desert escape that includes all the creature comforts we need!

Campground is convenient to Joshua Tree. Great accommodations (flush toilet, shower, huge outdoor kitchen, all very clean). Deb met me to show me around and was friendly and helpful. There is quite a bit of road noise, but that’s the cost of being close to a main road for easy access to the park.

We really enjoyed Deb's place. 5 of us passing through to Joshua Tree Park. Deb has very nice amenities; cooking area with sink, electrical plug ins for Jackery type devices, hot shower, bathroom. All decorated in a fun and funky style. You can pass through quietly or catch Deb to get a lowdown on the history of the area.

We stayed at Deb's Place with some friends on our way to Joshua Tree NP. Deb has done an extraordinary job setting up the site for guests. She has thought of every detail to make the place comfortable. Everything was exceptionally clean and organized. Deb is also quite friendly and spent some time telling us about things we could do around the area and the history of the region. We were a bit worried about the noise from the country highway nearby but traffic died down in the evening and wasn't a problem. We highly recommend Deb's Place!

This feels like the top notch of glamping. You have all the essentials, bbq grill, pots and pans, heater and fan,…. Even a movie theater, pool and an outdoor shower where you can stargaze while showering! 10/10 experience, very comfy and fun!!

This was a perfect place to camp! It was gorgeous and we could in fact see the Milky Way! It was super close to all the hikes and places we wanted to get to in town, but still felt very remote.

I loved camping at Deb's place. We stayed at 2 different sites over 3 days in our VW Vanagon and came away very impressed. Deb's Place has a great (and clean) communal kitchen with a fridge, sink, plenty of space and cooking pots and pans. The shower was instantly hot and a welcome site after long hikes in the desert. Deb was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this spot, especially if you have spent a few dusty days in JTNP and need a little ease and comfort.

7 nights at SB Mountain Cabin Rentals
Great place, peaceful, beautiful, well maintained, and clean none toxic cookware! Haha I know that’s a funny thing to be excited about but as a cook I love stainless steel and all were stainless steel, also master bed and pillows very comfortable, Tempur-Pedic I believe. Lots of stairs, so just be aware we brought our elder dog and was a little tricky for him to navigate; but other than that, host replied quickly to all questions and highly recommended!
