Weekend Trip to Box Canyon Farms

Box Canyon Farm is a truly magical place! The yurt has the coolest vibe, perfectly appointed with everything a small family or a couple looking for a romantic getaway! Nothing is left out, our every need other than food and clothing was there! With a magical trail down to a lovely waterfall stream! A nature lovers dream. And then there is that outdoor tub❤️, to absolutely die for, serene and private. We are hoping to make another trip to Box Cayon Farm soon, this time for much longer! Love the doggies!

2 nights at Box Canyon Farms

Really amazing property up in the hills. The yurt is really a yurt + master bedroom and laundry room. The kitchen is well appointed and hosts communicate well. There are great hikes nearby and river rafting is close. The doggies are the best!!!!

Dominy’s yurt is amazing. The second we walked into the property we were all in awe at its beauty. I know it may be hard to believe given how stunning the photos make it looks but it is somehow better than what is pictured. The space is warm with an open layout. I look forward to staying here again and greeting the pups, Duke, Tiny, and Sis!

Our group really enjoyed staying in Dominy’s yurt! It was equipped with everything we needed and more! We had an amazing weekend playing board games and taking a hike, which the two doggos (Tiny and Duke) led us on! We also enjoyed seeing all the hens and horses on the ranch as well as the family’s newest pup, Sis ☺️

Across the river there is a park that has additional river access and a park for kids to play at, bicycle pump track, tennis courts. Our property is perched above the river to view the rush of the water from above. See the birds soaring right in front of you. A short hike down our trails will lead you to a summer time swimming hole that dreams are made of with jumping rocks and a lagoon. A meadow filled with foxes and fruit trees. Star gazing every night. Coffee with a river view and mountains. The ranch is full of gorgeous manzanitas and hammocks. We have enough creature comforts like a flushing toilet, beds, and kitchen that you can enjoy your time in nature even if it is out of your comfort zone. Usually guests from the city, arrive and breathe a big sigh of relief. We can't wait to host you and see what memories you will make!

Our property sits on a very open and sunny 10 acres at the base of the majestic Ironside Mountain. The Trinity River is a short drive away to countless different swimming holes and river access for whitewater rafting, kayaking and fishing. Mountain Biking, dirt biking, hiking trails and horseback trails are right outside our back door. We have a paddock for livestock if you want to bring your horse for an overnighter. Our yurt is available for 4 guests and a furry friend. It has one bedroom and a loft and is fully furnished with cooking amenities and linens. Private entrance and lot of private space to feel like it’s all yours!
