Weekend Trip to Magic Portal Stargazer's Retreat

A beautiful spot with excellent views, and a pleasant surprise visit from some cattle on our way up to the location. I strongly suggest bringing something that can off-road a bit, it wasn't a rough drive, but I know my sedan would have gotten stuck or struggled toward the end. The provided outhouse is a welcome addition. It's a nice, quiet spot for a good getaway with a killer view of the stars all around.

1 night at Bowen Ranch Deep Creek Hot Springs

My partner and I have camped here twice now and we love it, hospitable staff, open area for camping with a table and bonfire area as well. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises and lighting around the area. They just added glamping areas to rent with other amenities like shower, pool table and more! We will definitely be returning in the near future!

Weekend Trip to The Nook

Thank you guys so much for an excellent birthday weekend. Such great hosts greeted us the evening of our arrival and even put a happy birthday flag out with very short notice . Cabin is secluded with only the sounds of nature which was exactly what we were looking for. Still close enough to town to not be inconvenient. Definitely will be coming back.

A spacious site and beautiful scenery. The hosts are very nice and the onsite fire wood was great to have. Clean bathrooms and great showers! My friends and I had a great experience, and we will be booking again next September.

We had a great stay at the Sarahi’s land. The location is perfect. It is close to so many fun activities. Walking around doing hiking. But is also quiet and private in the clothes optional and the campground was awesome experience. Sara was a wonderful host. I would absolutely book again. See you soon .

1 night at The Nook

The Nook is truly a special place. It is tucked away in the woods, and on the quietest road you can imagine. I don't think I saw a car driving by the while time we were there so if you are looking for true peace and quiet, this is it! The property itself has so many amenities, like a fully stocked kitchen, painting nook, tons of boardgames and books. It also has a TV for cozy movie nights! The bedrooms were SO cozy too and the bathroom even had a jetted tub!! We were so sad to leave the Nook, and are already planning our trip back. Thank you again, Abby!

High desert camping is always a little rough and dusty, but that’s part of the charm. The real highlight, without a doubt, was the hot springs. Truly nature’s perfect creation—exactly what comes to mind when you imagine a hot spring. It had everything: deep and clean water, hot and cool pockets, shallow areas to relax. Just incredible. Getting there (and back) wasn’t easy, but absolutely worth it. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and an open mind—yes, there are naked people.

Great experience that I will return soon. At night the road was a little rocky but the host came out friendly to great and check in. Hot springs were amazing as well as the campsite with the great outdoor amenities. Bathrooms are a bit far but are clean and well kept. Campground offer many great activities that you should find out on your own curiosity.
