Weekend Trip to Rosemead 12 miles to DT Los Angeles

There’s something special about Fallbrook. There are a lot more trees there than most of the rest of Southern California. Which means lots of birds. You’re greeted by a chorus of them every morning when you wake up. I got a chance to meet the hosts and they are lovely couple. Putting this campsite together seems to be a labor of love for them. Clean bathrooms, warm showers, highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Wilson Hill Retreat

What a wonderful world the host has created. From welcoming me the night I arrived to the tour the next day, I enjoyed every second on his adventure land. I am currently looking for dates to come back for more time. Everything is really beautiful beyond believe

We loved and I repeat LOVED our two days at Wilson Hill. There are small farms around the Wilson’s property, such as a potted plant grower on the far side and veg & chickens on the closest side. We strolled with our Labrador running ahead and exploring as we wandered the fenced property. We got to meet the very kind Wilsons and their dogs. The campsite parking is asphalt and includes a table with umbrella, four chairs, and outdoor carpet. The site fit our Bean Trailer and Subaru Outback well. Water hose and electrics with four-prong outlet are provided. We brought a small propane fire box for the perfect cozy touch. We would like to stay here again.

Weekend Trip to Wilson Hill Retreat

We loved camping here in our Bean teardrop trailer. I know the hosts were concerned about whether we could back our trailer into the spot. It was plenty wide enough and level, so we had no trouble parking. The spot was peaceful and beautiful, and we loved being able to let our dog stay off-leash while we explored the property. We would definitely stay here again.

I would highly recommend camping here! Our spot (oak grove) was very private and secluded and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The hosts are a down to earth, kind, and genuine couple who will welcome you warmly and make sure you have everything you need. They have several bath houses, each with a toilet, shower, sink, soap, shampoo, bee sting and first aid kits, literally anything you could need. I would highly recommend doing a tasting and trying their olive oil products as well as their jams and jellies, you won’t regret the experience. I will absolutely be returning here soon with friends, it was an awesome experience that was made even better by the most amazing hosts. They are a hardworking couple who are proud of what they have accomplished and it is so interesting to hear about their land, their products, and their family.

2 nights at Rosemead 12 miles to DT Los Angeles

We loved the clean bathrooms and wide open spaces. The view getting there was nice to see!!

This is a different type of site than we are used it. It's basically a VERY steep driveway down behind a bunch of houses and into a gravel lot with trailers and vehicles parked throughout. Can fit multiple rigs, but it's tight, especially getting in and out. We were able to drive both up and down the driveway with our 25' Sprinter-based RV and towing a Jeep Wrangler 2 door. Easier to unhook/hook up on the street, but doable at the bottom if not fully booked. Security cameras are located throughout. Neighborhood seems good. There's a walking trail just on the other side of the fence (not sure how to access it, though). This location was a last-minute choice as we decided while driving past LA to camp and explore. Our host, Richard, got back to our booking request quickly, which allowed us to start heading over right away. We explored most of Central LA and east while there. We then booked Dockweiler's RV Park on the other side of LA so we could explore that side of the city. I think splitting it up like that, if you have the time, is the best way to explore all of LA. We would stay again if we need a spot on the east side of LA.

1 night at Villa Macala

The hip camp at Macala Orchard was more than we could have imagined. The staff was amazingly hospitable, from the tour upon arrival, to the attention to detail for our accommodations, we were delighted. Our family enjoyed the views, the knowledge gained about the orchard/vineyard from David, the kindnesses extended to us and getting to purchase the award winning olive oil and jam, bringing a piece of it back home with us. The family was easy to work with and we would do it again in a heartbeat!

Richard is an excellent host. The directions he provided were very clear and led us to our spot. There is a hill to go down as others described but wasn’t an issue for us. Richard supplied us with electric and water- which was much appreciated. There is laundry available (at no additional cost) and access to the CLEAN porta potty. The neighborhood is very nice and we felt secure with the additional security cameras in the property. Richard communicated with us throughout or stay and made us feel welcomed and well cared for ! Thank you Richard- would recommend to others planning to visit the area.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very responsive and easy to get in touch with, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. He even came by to personally greet us on our first night, which was a thoughtful touch. The location was not too far from downtown LA and was perfect for our RV stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

I enjoyed a wonderful night camping on Fall’s beautiful property. There are several spacious sites with fire rings and picnic tables. Lots of trees for shade in a peaceful and private setting. There is a well done new bathroom with showers and plenty of hooks for hanging towel/clothes. The hosts are a lovely young family who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I enjoyed a fire, a glass of wine, and the stars at my campsite before turning in for a great nights sleep. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

We just returned from the most wonderful weekend celebrating our now 7-year-old son's birthday at Villa Macala! The property is so peaceful and beautiful -- boulders, olive and pomegranate orchards, wildflowers (in late April), hummingbirds, blue birds, etc. Our hosts were so friendly, inviting, and helpful, and we loved their pomegranate juice, fruit jams, and tea. The brand new bathhouse, just a moment up the path from our site, was clean and full of soaps and other supplies. We'll be back, for sure, and highly recommend the property (Site 1 - Elderberry Park) in particular for those who want to tent camp.

It’s really fantastic.

So to keep in the spirit of ethical sustainability along with ensuring a high quality and great tasting product, we purchase ingredients from local organic farmers and shelf products that not only have the USDA Organic seal, but are non-GMO, ethically harvested and in some cases certified Kosher. As the idea grew, we wanted to create an Open Canvas so that the guest could dream up what they wanted on our stage. We moved to the Inland Empire from Santa Monica, in 2017 with the dream of building an open canvas event space out of sustainable, re purposed and natural materials. Our mission is help enrich the culture of Perris, CA by providing a unique venue that takes you away from the hustle and bustle and takes you to a wonderland of nature surrounded by rocks and eucalyptus trees. Anson and I continue to build everything ourselves with the help of our friends and family every now and again. Our process is that we source as much lumber using the dead Eucalyptus trees we have here on the 36 acre property and we are constantly trying to come up with innovative ways to use recycled and donated materials in the venue. During the pandemic, we turned our venue into a campground so we could open up the venue to people who needed to get out into nature. We are now open for daily camping and private events.
