Coppercreek Camp is located in Plumas County 10 minutes from Lake Almanor, the Feather River, and Round Valley Lake. We are an hour from Lassen National Park.  Picnic by our ponds, play in our sandpit volleyball court, relax in a hammock, watch your kids put on a show at our amphitheater, and watch the sunset over Keddie Peak. The frogs and crickets will sing you to sleep. Ask us how to access our trails and other ponds. Our bunk cabins are rustic with electricity, windows and locking doors, and each cabin has different bed accommodations. Please bring all of your own bedding and sleeping bags. Some of the cabins have heat/AC. We have tent sites available with picnic tables and can accommodate dry-camping RVs. We are still working on installing RV hook-ups. May through October there is a bath and shower house with hot water and flush toilets. Propane fire pits are available for rent. We have an ice machine on in the summer months located by our Main Lodge. The winters are cold and snowy, spring and fall are ideal with warm sunny days and cool, crisp nights, and the summer has warm evenings and hot days. There is plenty of shade with large pine, cedar and oak trees and open sunny space in the meadow. Coppercreek Camp is your perfect mountain getaway for the whole family! Please note: The Dixie fire burned our town of Greenville in August 2021. There is ongoing repair work in the local area, a lot of burned forest, but still many beautiful sites to see. Much of our property burned, but we are rebuilding and have beautiful green trees with plenty of shade. All of our pictures on HipCamp are post-fire and up-to-date. Please come and support our special town as we rebuild! The town of Greenville is located about 5 minutes from our property and offers a grocery store, Dollar General, gas station with mini mart, and wonderful food trucks. Grab the best quesadillas and drinks from the Way Baby or delicious coffee and breakfast from The Valley Grind.

Each cabin comes with a fully stocked kitchen and essential items like linens and towels, ensuring a comfortable stay. To make your stay more comfortable, we suggest bringing along some additional beach towels, as the towels provided are meant for use only within the cabin. Pet Policy All our cabins and seasonal RV sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation. We ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard. The Feather River Hot Springs offers you a unique experience. We are located on State Highway 70 along the East Branch of the North Fork of the Feather River in the canyon. In the canyon there are many sights and sounds to enjoy. Nestled in between Highway 70 and the banks of the Feather River, are 5 tent sites and 5 RV sites, as well as 3 cabins available for your stay. All very close to the river. Overnight stays include the use of a natural sulphur hot springs beside the Feather River. It is small, accommodating six persons max at one time. Guests are able to book a private reservation for two or more for $120. Young children are not allowed in or at the Springs, must be teens and up. There is a sign up board for multiple shared soaks at check in cabin. The Springs are a short walk from the RV sites and camping. Swimsuits required, no glass containers, smoking or pets. There are three cabins that sleep max of two adults. Pets are not allowed. They are nonsmoking cabins. The cabins are very close to one another. Five tent sites of different sizes are all along the river. Five RV sites as well to accommodate from small trailers to 40’ . Please check accommodations size before booking. Pets are welcome in RV and camping areas but must be on a leash at all times. Limit one pet per site. Aggressive dogs or excessive barking is not permitted and you will be asked to leave. Pets are not allowed down at the tubs. Quiet time is from 10pm to 9am. Excessively loud music not allowed. This is a very small resort, a mutual respect for all guests and the property is a top priority. This has been my home for over 15 years, it’s not a facility. Campfires are allowed by request and are dependent on weather conditions. You must bring your own cut wood, no bigger than 24” or purchase wood here. Foraging for firewood is not allowed. Campfires cannot be left unattended. Quaint and rustic but often referred to as magical. Not just a stopover on your way to somewhere else but hopefully a destination that you will want to return to again and again. Spring, summer or fall there’s always something new to experience. Please note, the train tracks are right across the river, fascinating but noisy. The springs do smell strongly of sulphur. Showers and flush toilets not available

Our stay at Lena's Landing was wonderful and made even more special by Anett and her beautiful property. The rustic tiny cabin was so cozy, with a comfortable loft bed. We loved looking out over the property and watching the dogs, goats, and horses roam freely. The peaceful setting was absolutely beautiful. We stayed here because it was recommended by a family friend and it exceeded every expectation. We were in town for a local bike race and only stayed one night, but it was the perfect place to rest after a long day of racing. What truly made our stay unforgettable was Anett. She is an incredibly kind, thoughtful, and welcoming host who genuinely cares about her guests. She made us feel right at home. We are so grateful for our stay and cannot wait to return. Next time, we plan to stay longer so we can enjoy more of the property.

Anett was an outstanding host! We enjoyed our stay in Lena’s cabin and honestly slept so incredibly well. We wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was very clean and our stay included having access to: utensils, cooking pans, ground coffee, a french press, playing cards, propane stove top, a grill, a fire pit, a solar shower, the views of the meadows, stars and an opportunity to meet some of the farm animals (dogs, horses and Sully the goat). Thank you Anett for being such a very hospitable host & we look forward to coming to visit again soon ! 💚🌷

Weekend Trip to Coppercreek Camp

We loved our weekend at Coppercreek Camp. We had a big family weekend with a mix of ages including 9 kids under 12. We had a mix of cabins and tent sites. Everything was clean and comfortable. So nice that there is an ice machine. As a mom of young kids that stresses out anytime we’re in public, I really appreciated that as soon as we arrived Sutter told our kids what there was to do and to go run around and explore. The camp was set up perfectly for the kids. They loved playing badminton, the ropes course, and playing cards on the lodge deck in the evenings.

Camp Almanor was a lovely spot to spend the weekend! It's right across the road from the lake, and very quiet. We stayed in a studio cabin which was small but had everything we needed. The other guests were lovely!

I had a great time, amazing views of the meadow! Perfect spot to get a little peace of nature. Plenty of activities, and the river is a quick walk across the meadows for a swim. Bringing my fishing pole next time. Another perk was the night sky, haven’t seen that many starts in a bit. Also loved the view from the outdoor shower.

1 night at Lena's Landing- A Cozy Cabin

We wish we would have had the time to stay longer!! Everything was simply perfect. Our host was amazing, so kind, and despite the shortness of the time we enjoyed our talks and every moment on this beautiful peace of property. Everything we needed was there and we enjoyed making a small fire on our one night barbecue dinner using the little grill that has been provided. Solar bags for quick shower heated up well during the day and the outhouse was clean. Took a short walk down to the river even though this time of the year the ground was still pretty wet so walking through the meadow was a bit challenging. Bring hiking boots :) Enjoyed watching the train going by in the distance; during our short stay we only noticed it once . Never saw the next door neighbors and the very few cars passing by behind the cabin were no bother to us since it is a dead end road. We both used the loft bed which worked for us. Very tall people might choose to use the cot besides the loft bed for having more space. Despite no indoor plumbing, it’s been great to have running and clean water for coffee etc at the little dishwashing station. Due to the absolutely gorgeous scenery in this area, this was our 2nd time visiting. ( first time through hip camp) We recommend this “ Camping ground” highly!!!! Thank you Anett for being such great host on your beautiful property and we can’t wait to be back !!

The Cabin at Lena's Landing was so quaint and well thought out. Many personal touches that added to a lovely experience. The view of the meadow was my favorite as I enjoyed my morning coffee. Everything was provided to make this a memorable and enjoyable experience. The hostess, Anette, is charming and made sure I was comfortable and any questions were answered. I plan on returning to this peaceful spot and bringing my horse for the next stay. Great areas to ride and explore. Definitely recommend Lena's Landing.

Great trip. We stayed in the Logger's cabin and it was beautiful. The area is nice, right on the river and the hot springs were great. Rocky was a wonderful host and took great care of us. We really enjoyed the trip and want to go back with friends. There is a lot of exploring and cool stuff to do in the area also. Highly recommended.

This was such a wonderful spot for a group trip! The kitchen and living room layout are perfect for game nights and communal dinners, and there are lots of lovely individual rooms to retreat to for solo time. The trip to the cabin was truly magical! Sierra City is a tiny little town (and most of it is closed in the winter), so this is truly a place to get away from it all. The cabin felt spacious, even with 8 people and 3 dogs present. The inside, outside, and surrounding area is so beautiful. It’s an amazing place to lounge or go for a nice walk by the rivers. Rachel is also an amazing host and all of our needs were met!

Staying at this magical little cabin in the woods was everything you could ask for and then some. We had a great time just enjoying the quietness of the area and just the sounds of the Yuba river. The cabin was beautiful and just felt like staying in a piece of history with how beautiful it was inside and out. Stay here and you wont regret it, only that you didnt book a longer stay.

Newly renovated cabin with new windows and ac with plenty of room for an extra cot. All sorts of activities for the kids with ping pong, tether ball, volleyball, basketball and rope course. We'll maintained facilities and clubhouse. We really enjoyed the Campground and the close proximity to Lake Almanor and Lassen Volcanic Park and will definitely return.

Had another great stay at Coppercreek, the kids had a blast with the ropes course, and we got to pick blackberries this time. The proximity to Lake Almanor and the Feather River makes for great swimming and fishing. The hosts had even hung up a line for us to dry our towels, which was great. A truly amazing spot, thanks again for having us!

We enjoyed our stay at Coppercreek Camp. The property is large, scenic, and well shaded, and we enjoyed walking around and meeting the horses, part of the friendly pack of dogs, and playing some of the games provided on the property.
