Dayne is an awesome host. The individual tents were cozy and the land offers a lot to pass time or relax. Would highly recommend the extra activities to make your trip for memorable. After getting to know Dayne, I could tell he’s passionate about giving folks the opportunity to experience what Joshua tree has to offer. 5/5

I absolutely adore this little cabin. It’s cozy, the energy is clean and the view is amazing. My stay was so quiet and peaceful. The only noise I heard was rain on the roof and the occasional coyote. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was so cute!

Had the best time staying at Coyote Hideaway! The sunrises, sunsets and stargazing were the best part. The property is still close to town while giving the illusion of being far away and isolated. We stayed on a new moon and had the most stunning clear view of the sky. The cabin was clean and cozy and had really neat art! The hot tub was cool and modern with led lights! I would definitely come back! Thanks for an amazing stay!

2 nights at Coyote Hideaway | WOW view✨
This property was an amazing retreat and close to Joshua Tree. Waking up in the morning to the amazing sunrise with a view over the desert was truly special. We enjoyed the provided tea and coffee as well as the warm shower in the winter. The hot tub also had a great view and was large enough for 6-8 people. The only thing I'd caution is that the dirt road to the property especially at the end is a bit steep and rocky but doable with any type of vehicle with a bit of clearance.

5 nights at Manzanita Village Retreat
Stayed here for a 5 day solo retreat. Beautiful location, the cabin is private and set away from the main complex, and is very well insulated, warm at night and cool during the day. Caitriona, Michele, and Tom are all very friendly, welcoming, and respectful. Highly recommend.

Our family absolutely LOVED this private home-away-from-home! It was such a gift to go back to these cabins (we booked both), after our days of exploring Joshua Tree and Pioneer Town.
Family favorite: Stargazing from the hot tub.
My favorite: Quiet morning coffee on the deck with the sunrise.
We love camping in JT, but now we are spoiled with this incredible privacy and sanctuary from the crowds. It's so quiet that you can hear every animal out there... coyotes, crows, and the early morning owls. We will definitely be going back!

The location was perfect and had an attached path to explore the area below. Super quiet for my reactive pup where it’s just you at the site. The deck was fabulous and the included grill/cooking utensils was great. Serina was also super accommodating and responded quickly in the chat.
If heading over when raining, the site is still accessible though I do recommend using a car with higher clearance as some of the unpaved roads in the surrounding neighborhood can get quite rough. No issue with my AWD and the road itself leading up to the cabin as it was well maintained.

Weekend Trip to Coyote Hideaway | WOW view✨
It’s very remote but still close to Joshua Tree maybe 10 minutes to the center of town. It’s a sand road to the place and the drive way up the hill to the cabin is a bit challenging. The view is amazing from the deck. A bit rustic and not anything fancy. The hot tub is nice.I think the property listed a washer and dryer, but it’s not for guest to use.

Great vibe tons of things do on-site. My kids got to Daynes pigs and went i night hike too.
The spa was great. BBQ and clubhouse was amazing. Highly recommend this campsite. Excellent view of stars as well.

This is indeed a very serene and private location, you will be surrounded by nothingness and nature, maybe a few curious coyotes. If you are looking to disconnect from the world in the privacy of nature reserve and pristine dark sky at night, do it! Best time to go - during new moon. Then you will be wow'ed by the sky's beauty as you soak in a brand new hot tub.

Weekend Trip to Manzanita Village Retreat
I’m almost too zen-ed out to write a review! This was such a tranquil getaway & Caitriona & Michele were very kind hosts. Thank you! The “hermitage” was very private & stayed magically cool through the afternoon sun while still getting warm enough to keep the window open at night! I’d describe it as 50% camping (sleeping on cots & peeing outside if you don’t want to do the walk to the common area) & 50% cabin (everything is set up for you and there’s access to the super well stocked kitchen, shower etc). The kitchen & bathroom are a short (2 min?) walk down the hill. There’s a beautiful stretch of the PCT less than 10 mins away. Sunrises & sunsets & stars, oh my! I hope to be back again soon. Thanks again!

This feels like the top notch of glamping. You have all the essentials, bbq grill, pots and pans, heater and fan,…. Even a movie theater, pool and an outdoor shower where you can stargaze while showering! 10/10 experience, very comfy and fun!!

I highly recommend staying here! The host Dayne is very friendly, he provided some recommendations for us to do w/ our dogs. The whole campground was clean, from the bathrooms, kitchen, tent, and beds. We could charge our devices in the tent and there was a fan or heater if we needed it. It's a quiet & safe area. You're close to the park and good restaurants!
