2 nights at A California Dream: Camp Hoppy
Camp hoppy was is an amazing, beautiful spot tucked away in the redwood forest. We had an amazing time enjoying the fire under the trees, listening to the creek, watching the moon rise, and spotting some really interesting wildlife. It’s the perfect balance of being immersed in nature while still having the comforts you need: an open-air space for cooking, hot water, and a nice, clean bathroom.
Having the entire property and creek to ourselves made it feel like a peaceful little retreat. It truly has everything you need for a perfect nature getaway. I’d love to come back in the future. This is a lovely Hipcamp spot!

Another AMAZING trip at Camp Hoppy with our group, this time with 2 doggos in tow! The site is huge and allowed us to split up amongst the camp area, as well as in the lower site near the river.
Can't recommend this site enough for groups looking for a private, beautiful, relaxing escape

Weekend Trip to A California Dream: Camp Hoppy
A little slice of heaven! My kids and I had a super special weekend here. The screened porch and comfy cots were a much appreciated bonus. The creek was lovely to read next to and play in.

Great spot! Loved getting into the river and hanging around the property. Some good platforms for sleeping on. One note; the yurt by the river has seen better days and we opted not to sleep in it. Otherwise, a beautiful and tranquil spot in a perfect location.

We loved camp hoppy! It was a beautiful space, clean, open with plenty of land for the dogs to run around in. The creek was a short hike down and we had a great time in the water. It was a hot weekend for May but the redwoods at the campsite provided adequate shade and it was a lot cooler than expected.

It’s truely a very special land full of good energy from nature and from owner’s organization. We came with two another families with kids ranged from 3-13, they all had lovely time sitting by fire, dipping feet in creek, hiking in wood, running around in the nature. On the site, there is clean bathroom, water and shower, which made the camping with kids a lot easier. Before we arrive, Sonia gave very clear instruction and details and very responsive when we need extra help. As we are leaving, one of the car couldn’t start, Sonia was very flexible to let us to take our time to get help. We feel very thankful for everything Sonia had created on this site and let it open to share with us. We definitely will come back. It’s so beautiful. We could stay for a week there.

Sonia’s land was the perfect camping experience with just the right amount of amenities. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the creek was amazing, and having hot water and WiFi felt like such a luxury while still being immersed in nature. Our group of six had plenty of space, and everything was well thought out for a comfortable stay. We’ll definitely be back again when the weather warms up!

Camp hoppy was absolutely wonderful, My partner and I visited on Valentine’s Day weekend and were blown away with the views on the property. The trails that lead down to the water are extremely beautiful and very easy/fun to hike. I would recommend camp hoppy to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with family or others and can’t wait to return!

This spot is truly magical! I celebrated my 30th birthday here with my family, and could not have asked for a better spot to camp. The creek is gorgeous and we enjoyed the moonrise view from the fire pit.
