Lisa was amazing, showed us around the entire property walking around barefoot like a true warrior! We stayed at the campsite near the trailer, which was nice and roomy and had room for our big family tent. Close to the beach and some cool cafés nearby in Topanga canyon. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful family getaway in Debra’s cabin! This home was clean and comfortable, and well equipped for a relaxing weekend. We particularly enjoyed the large board game collection. The deck has amazing views and great spots to relax and enjoy a book. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful place to enjoy quality family time. Corey’s farm is the ultimate farm camping experience. It has everything you’d need. We had a blast. Their instructions were really easy to follow. Road to get there is beautiful and their land is clean. The campsite had all the amenities I’d like to have. (Electricity, water and sewage hookups). They were available if we needed anything. Also they have large dogs that are the friendliest farm dogs that you’d ever encounter. I highly recommend everyone to stay here and experience this gem of a campground.

Staying at Cross Bull Ranch was an amazing getaway experience for my partner and I! We wanted to get out into nature somewhere that wasn't super far away from us and we definitely got what we were looking for. Lisa was a great host and we really enjoyed talking to her and plan on going back! Camp sites all were well maintained and we picked one with plenty of shade to get out of the summer heat. June 2025 25ft Travel Trailer We had an amazing time camping at Bear all Retreat. Corey’s place is 130 plus acres of pure-outdoor bliss. Creek with clear streaming water, amazing views, starry nights and campfires right outside our door. Free range cows, horses, goats, pigs, and chickens, greeted us daily and provided us with entertainment. The family dogs came to visit often hanging out with us keeping us safe and our dog enjoyed making new friends. We hiked and walked on trails collecting pinecones, pine nuts, watercress and fell asleep to the chorus of the frogs in the creek. Corey’s wife Alicia and kids were so kind and gracious sharing with us fresh farm eggs, goats milk, points of interest around the area and pleasant conversation. Camping the way it is ment to be, cant speak highly enough of this hidden gem. We will surely be returning to Bear all Retreat to clear our mind and soul while camping and hiking in the great our doors.

3 nights at Sleepy Meadow Ranch

Tent camping on the land was beautiful, thankfully our group had the place to ourselves! Loved the privacy and secluded land. Walking the dirt road neighborhood streets was a great exercise without going far. Our dogs loved the off leash opportunity. We will absolutely visit the land again. Only con our party had was we booked for 3 nights and didn't realize the porta potty was already pretty full, however it didn't smell and was very clean. Next time we do hope to have an emptier potty or access to both.

Weekend Trip to Cross Bull Ranch/CBR

I didn’t need to bring a canopy as there is plenty of shade or chairs which were already provided was nice. This was a nice not far from home getaway. You’re not far off the main highway but it still feels secluded. You can sleep in a tent but also jump in your car and go to a cafe, bistro, or market 5-10 minutes away if you wanted to. I think my spot at the moon lodge was the best as you’re tucked in a nice corner by the stream and the mountain. Lisa was very sweet and accommodating, we were the only ones there when we went to it was nice to have the place to ourselves. She has dogs but they were so well trained they didn’t make a peep the whole time we were there. She even has a rooster that Lisa let us feed which i loved ! Bathrooms were clean but you have to walk outside of the property to get there. The equalivent of maybe 1 street block give or take depending on where you are. Which is not uncommon for camping. I 100% recommend this spot of your looking for something local. :)
