If you’re looking for a place to unplug, relax, and make some amazing family memories, Bare All Retreat is IT!
Our family of 8, ranging from 6 months to 52 years old, had the absolute BEST time. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and full of so much life. We got to see horses, pigs, goats, Highland cows, baby chickens, and the sweetest baby horses—which were definitely my favorite! 🐴❤️
There was plenty of space for our two tents, three cars, and a trailer, and we never felt crowded. We also had space to set up corn hole and can jam. Our spot was huge! At night, listening to the creek flowing was one of those simple things that made the whole experience feel extra special and peaceful.
Corey and his family were so friendly and welcoming. Their kids played with our kids, showed our kiddos how to hold baby chicks. And even gave us carrots from their garden. You can tell they truly care about their.
If you need Wi-Fi, you can get a connection near the volleyball courts, which was a nice little bonus.
I honestly could go on and on about how much we loved this place. It was the perfect family getaway, and we will absolutely be back!

During our stay, there were several animals roaming freely around the property, including hog that wandered through areas used by guests. As we were getting ready to leave, one of the hog bit me on the knee. As a result, I had to get a tetanus shot and purchase medication to prevent an infection.
What made the situation even worse was that the host was informed about what happened and simply stopped responding.
No apology, no assistance, and no accountability.
I am seriously concerned about the safety of future guests. If an animal was capable of biting an adult, it could also pose a risk to children visiting the property. No one expects to end a camping trip injured, facing unexpected medical expenses, and receiving no support from the host after an incident like this.
If they cannot control their animals or respond appropriately when someone is injured on their property, they should not be hosting guests.
Please be cautious before booking this place.
Awesome property great for a weekend getaway, amenities were easy to find and guest wifi was useful for staying connected. Corey is quick to respond and accommodating for our large group, couldn’t have asked for a better host!

Overall, we had a really nice camping experience! The hosts were kind, communicative, and welcoming throughout our stay. The animals on the property were really cool to live amongst and added a unique touch to the experience.
One of our favorite parts was the creek. It was very clean, and my son absolutely loved spending time playing in it. There was also a restroom and shower available in the RV on the property, which was a great convenience. I would assume those amenities are only available when the RV itself is not being rented, but they were definitely appreciated during our stay.
One thing I would mention for future campers is that the camping area is more open and visible than we initially expected. Depending on where you camp along the lane, you are approximately 30–40 feet from the road, so headlights can shine toward the camping area in the evening. The campsite is also located on a lower level directly below the hosts’ house. While the layout still gives you your own camping area, the house, road, and other campers are all fairly visible, so it doesn’t have the secluded or private feel you might expect from a more remote campsite.
Because of that, I think this is probably a better fit for novice campers, families, or anyone who is comfortable with a more accessible and social camping environment. If you’re specifically looking for a very private, secluded, or off-the-grid camping experience, this may not be the ideal spot.

We all loved camping at Corey’s! The horses and cows randomly showing up was pretty memorable for us and the kids. Everyone was very welcoming. It was a bit tricky to initially find our location but very easy to wave down the rest of the family members as they drove by. Highly recommend this site to anyone looking to spend some time in nature surrounded by friendly animals.
The hosts are super nice . It's a wild place , but very interesting and has its own beauty . Our kids enjoyed it a lot, playing with their dogs, goats and horses. We had a great time and nice experience ! It was something different than a regular camping
We’ve been on a 3 week country wide road trip in an RV. We’ve stayed at many hip camps that are RV compatible, and out of all of them, the Bare All Retreat has been the best. Just getting there is a cool experience. Once inside, you get to be a part of their ecosystem and see this beautiful thing that is someone’s passion. Unreal to know this is a private property. There are hiking trails and a creek!
I loved that there was so much space to spread out and the sounds of the creek flowing next to the campground was so amazing to wake up to. There was plenty of shade from the sun and nice fire pits for campfires.

Beautiful campsite with delightful animals, a creek to explore and a lovely family hosting:) my brother and I had the best time and plan to visit again!
We had a great time. So relaxing and beautiful. Corey met us at the gate and escorted us to our site. We had no issues at all. Dogs super social. Invaded by beautiful horses before bed. We replay enjoyed ourselves.
Four overlanders decided to try something new and Airbnb a private piece of land for a camping trip. It was our first time doing something like this, and definitely won't be our last!
We had the pleasure of meeting the host and his family, and they were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The host was very responsive through the app and extremely helpful throughout our entire stay.
This place is truly a hidden gem, and we would absolutely come back again—next time with our families. Highly recommended!
Corey And his partner were very easy to communicate with and were super helpful in showing us our site and the farm. They even helped us get our car unstuck from the creek bed (100% my fault for being too ambitious) - all with a smile on their faces (as I was kinda freaking out) haha.
On top of the hospitality, we loved the peaceful location and all the animal life. Super fun, quick reset from LA life. We’d def return!

We loved all the animals - they were very friendly, especially the dogs. The RV was clean and comfortable. We had a great relaxing stay!
Gate 1 is the perfect spot with shade and a creek close by. You can hear the water all night long! Plus all the trees provide perfect shade to hide from the sun! I recommend bringing a hammock.
Hosts are great and easy to communicate with.
This was my second stay here and I fell even more in love with this Farm!
We had a great time at Bare All Retreat! The owners were awesome! They met us at the gate when we arrived, showed us the best place to camp, and spoke to us about the animals. During our stay we got to see and interact with various animals throughout the night including goats, cows, dogs, horses, and frogs. The site was very clean and was placed next to the steam with a well made firepit. I am 100% looking forward to staying here again later this year!

Endless acres of mountain to explore. Chickens, friendly goats, and even friendlier dog AND horses, The dogs were a massive hit, both in terms of size, and how much our dogs loved playing with and exploring the property with them. The horses were the sweetest, coming up to our campsite a couple of times to beg for some scratches and attention (including a little foal). As we hooked up to leave, they staged a farewell gathering. This place is a wonder. It’s a bit out of the way for sure, but this place is an experience, and great for a long term stay (we stayed for almost 2 weeks and wish we could have stayed longer). I was a bit afraid coming in with my 45 foot fifth wheel, as the entry requires driving down and back out of a creek bed, but Corey reassured me and literally walked me through getting in.

Loved it. I haven’t been camping in decades and this was exactly what we needed to try it again. Had a wonderful weekend with my kids. Beautiful site
I loved this spot! I had really good interactions with the host and enjoyed every moment
The drive to this location is beautiful. I love being in the rolling hills of California. This spot is in a valley and the last few miles of the drive was gorgeous. Our spot by the stream and the road was nice. It was peaceful. I would recommend, but a few things to consider:
-Have a shovel handy. Had to clear out a good amount of horse manure from the site.
-Zero cell service for T-Mobile
-Very, very windy. Make sure your tent is secured.
My son and I spent two nights and had a blast.
The animal visits were amazing. We had goats, horses, dogs and a chicken stop by to say hello.
Lots of trees and shade & a babbling brook.
The stars were amazing and the weather was perfect. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.
We’ll definitely be back.

We had a lovely time here and would definetely come back in the future! The hosts were very nice, quick to reply, and took the time to show us around different camping spots to pick from. The property and surrounding area is beautiful and there's a lot of interesting places to explore. The creek isn't hard to cross with any regular car which isn't too close to the ground. The animals were great too, they got some beautiful highland cows and horses which came up to us to say hello. There's a lot of bones around the property if bone collecting is your thing. They also got three shepard/guard dogs which are very friendly. We were the only campers there when we went so having them around at night really put our minds at ease. As others have said you lose signal relatively soon after you exit the highway and take Caliente, so plan accordingly
As inexperienced campers, I’m not sure what we were expecting, but this place was pretty great! Their 3 big, fluffy dogs hung out with us the entire time, which was a dream come true for me and my dog. She loved being off leash, romping with the dogs, and running through the stream (best days EVER). Their horses came near our site on the last day and it was so nice watching them peacefully grazing and drinking from the stream. As I mentioned, we’re pretty inexperienced campers and had to leave early due to the cold. Just know whatever the weather apps say, it probably be a bit cooler since it’s nestled between rocky hills. We definitely want to return when it’s warmer or come back better prepared.
What stood out is not only the beautiful views but the water stream that goes through the property. Very peaceful & Cory & his wife are very welcoming and helpful!

Had a great time. Tons of open area to explore, a soothing creek running by the spot we chose. Beautiful horses came right up to us by us and were very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
We loved spending time with all the animals at this campsite! The host Corey showed us multiple sites and let us choose. We picked one close to their home so we could use the WiFi but it was also a nice flat area and next to the creek! The farm animals were social and came by our campsite to visit quite a bit. The dogs came by often to check on us - SUPER friendly! The hosts were very helpful and answered any questions or needs. There is not cell service or WiFi once you exit off 58. GPS screwed us up on finding the entry gate but Corey was so patient and waited for us to figure it out! Some of cows slept by our tent one of the nights about 30 feet away or so. It was quite hot by late afternoon and very cool at night. This place is for you if you like animals! It was very peaceful- lots of stars at night- very secluded. It was a great experience to camp at a working farm.
