We love glamping at Camp Nauvoo! The camp owner and hosts are always super friendly and go out of their way to make sure we enjoy our time! We go for my birthday and Greg always is so sweet by giving me a cupcake during the campfire time! The glamping tents are well taken care of, the restrooms and showers clean and there is plenty to explore! We loved watching the deer and turkeys that come into the meadow. We will definitely be back!

What a magical place and what a magical time! I spent most of my days sitting on the edge of a hill taking in all the beauty, getting to walk (somehow safely - no stickers!) barefoot all over the grounds like a wild person, scrambling far upstream in the creek with my family and our friend's kids for a great place to sit in the water under dappled sunlight while my son searched for crawdads, playing games in the meadow, staring at stars... There were deer and pheasants and bullfrogs, tiny lizards and even a butterfly all of whom literally hung out on us, and there's nothing like being able to pick a delicious, ripe blackberry (or 15) everywhere you go and watching the city kids you're with get to do the same.
On top of that, we ended up hitting it off so well with the staff member who checked us in, Katie (the coolest!), that we even exchanged contact info! The rest of the staff we met were great too and felt available for whatever we needed.
I felt like site #11 was especially picturesque, and that you got even more forest "real estate" that felt like all yours up there on the hill, but we do have our eyes on a couple spots closer to the river (and the bathrooms) for possible future visits. I could go on, but overall we were all so grateful to spend time in this gem of a place.

Weekend Trip to Camp Nauvoo
As always, we had a wonderful time at the camp Nauvoo!!!! Camp host Katie was very accommodating and went out the way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. Thank you Greg and Laurie for this wonderful and serene place!!! We will be back!!!

The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The large lawn was great for playing frisbee, and the swings added to the fun. The treehouse itself is charming. However, the map is a bit misleading — the treehouse is located directly off the main path, so it doesn’t offer much privacy. It’s a short and easy walk to the main bathroom and dishwashing area, where you can access drinking water.

Mr. Greg and Miss Katie showed us tremendous hospitality upon arrival and throughout our stay. This was by far, one of the best, easiest camping experiences for my wife and I and our two young kids.

I would highly recommend this place, especially for families. We were in tent #10, nicely secluded on your own section of the babbling creek. #9 is right there, close but not too close, would be great if you were a group and booked 9 and 10 together! The bathrooms are clean, property immaculate, shallow little swimming hole perfect for kids. The carts provided to haul your stuff were great! I would definitely return. The meadow is beautiful also a great place to see some stars or play or watch wildlife.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet here. The cabin was perfectly cozy and provided all the necessities for glamping. We also really liked the host’s recommendations in town - we tried Java John’s for coffee and Lola’s for a nicer dinner our last night. Russ and Kim both greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. The property was very easy to find.

The site was shady with a creek right in front. Restroom, shower, and lodge conveniently close by. There is an easy trail on site perfect for my little onesie (4 and 6). There are board games and dining tables in the lodge for those looking to cool off and recoup in an AC room. Camp staff are friendly and helpful. Areas of improvement: lodge smells very musty; cot beds are saggy and uncomfortable even with sleeping pad rental; and lastly, our Canvas tent had a lot of spiders (beyond expectation of being in the great outdoors) but is not a deal breaker. All in all we plan to return with our own tent next time. We also enjoyed the open grass area for rec sports and play. .

Absolutely amazing! My kids and I loved the mini-glamping tent #9. My 10 year old referred to it many times as “paradise”. We were also impressed with Greg and Katie. So warm and welcoming! We’re already planning our next trip.

Our 2nd year here and have loved it both times. We've stayed in the mini-glamp site #9 - big bed, cot for our daughter, table and 2 chairs, extra comforter. We love that there's a little playground, clean bathrooms/showers (both are cleaned every night). Have enjoyed smores on Saturdays (bring your own!), floating in the creek, BBQ grills. We've been at #9 and our friends take 6A tent camping and it's perfect for us - easy creek access and right next to each other. Looking forward to next year. Thanks Greg and Laurie! :)

This is a great campsite overall irrespective of the type of abode you choose. I chose the Canvas Tent #5 as it close to the amenities as well as close to the creek to hear the running water but not to close to be bothered by it. There are grills nearby as well as other facilities. The campsite is built with everyone in mind and has something for every age group. We had our 6 year old dog with us and he enjoyed his time there too.

We switched from tent 4 to a clamping tent. I was looking for tent with beds. Tent 4 had four cots. Nice play area for kids. Craw fishing with the kids and a friend who was experienced in that activity. Watching deer pass by as you a rest in the hamic.
Chance to unplug for a bit.

another incredible stay. kim was so kind and welcoming. she even left me a goodie bag since i’ve stayed there multiple times. it wasn’t too hot even with the heat advisory. i love the new little additions too. the little overhang over the door for when it rains. the little ledge u see the mirror. the stone tiles in the kitchen area. all lovely! i always find peace and rest here, which is why ill always return

Fabulous family spot! We brought our three year old and it was perfect. We played in the creek, had smores every night with the group campfire, and really appreciated a big grass field and swing set. Hosts had everything and were very kind. It’s a little oasis, shaded and lovely riparian zone, and a great community space to interact with other campers as much or as lightly as you prefer. Will be back! And enormous thanks to the hosts!

Weekend Trip to Camp Nauvoo
The hosts and caretaker were friendly and helpful. The camp grounds itself was lovely, as was the campsite. Lots of mosquitoes but I believe regular spraying is done.
The best part is despite how full the campsite was, you don’t feel the crowd. Great for large group camping is there is something for everyone from tent camping to glamping.

We had a wonderful time returning to our little glamping tent, this time with our daughter. The space was cozy enough and we were able to keep warm despite some cold/wet weather. We had enough space fit a pack and play next to our bed, which was perfect for us. This tent is our favorite because it is the most remote and it is where the creek is all you can hear. There are so many nice amenities with the lodge, restrooms, cooking options and campfire. Greg and Katie were super welcoming and we had a nice time chatting by the fire. It is so nice to be able to get away, listen to the sounds of the woods and just stare at the beautiful scenery. I will warn that this site is probably one of the furthest from the restrooms, but still manageable. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Had number 11 at the top. It wasn’t far up as it seemed, but it was private enough for the family and it was definitely good on the way down for unloading. I would recommend for getting away from the city.

We had amazing time from check in to check out. The glamping tent we had met all our expectations with a comfortable bedding. Camping next to the creek was amazing with beautiful views. Waking up and cooking breakfast was our highlight. We are early birds so our only recommendation would be to have the Kuerig available at 6am in lieu of 9am
