2 nights at Kosk Creek Campgrounds

Kosk Creek was a great place to stay! A little too warm to enjoy the hotsprings but the kids enjoyed playing in the creek. Don’t use Apple maps to navigate here, it will take you down a very long FSR.

Great place -- it is a beautiful and relaxing campground with a number of private sites near river -- would be nice to have some more picnic tables but the host Scott was great and told us he is working on that. Hot springs are great (it was too hot for them) and we enjoyed spending time at Iron Canyon Reservoir. Host was very kind and responsive. We enjoyed it and would go back. Dogs loved it too.

Cool little camp area, very hot! But worth it. The creek and river spots made the camping trip! Campsites are spread out. Pretty private. The outhouses could be dumped but other than that we were super stoked to be able to experience one of the most magical river spots and hot springs. Would go again in the cooler months.

Cool little area. Very hot ! But the creek and the river spots make it all worth it. Had to pass a few scratchy areas but totally worth it! Stoked to have found such a magical little river spot. Host was very friendly and helpful. Thanks so much!!

Kosk Creek was a very nice private campground. There were great spots to camp along the creek and a man-made waterfall about a mile up creek. There are no hookups nor potable water unfortunately. There was a couple of port-a-potty’s that were not well maintained (no toilet paper, so bring your own).

1 night at Alpen Vineyard Hideaway

Lovely overall. Site was had great views. Tent was beautiful and we appreciated thoughtful touches, eg very comfortable chairs to look out over the vines, hooks, etc to have things laid out. Our dog loved the swimming hole and I loved the wine tasting. We were also pointed to a beautiful dinner spot nearby.

6 nights at Camp Stoney Meadows

My husband and I had the best time visiting this beautiful property. There were two RV spots and several tent spots. The groundskeeper, Alex was amazing! He was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms while rustic were clean. This was just the trip we were looking for. I would definitely go again.

Great spot to stay at to break up the drive to/from the PNW. I was nervous based on Google reviews and previous reviews because of the trashed cars and randoms walking in during all hours of the night, and because I was out camping solo. I had no issues with that whatsoever! It was quiet in the evenings. Had the hot springs all to myself in the morning and at night. Perfect place to stop!

This place is magical! Our host gave us a great welcome with lots of history and practical information. Great bathrooms and kitchen area with drinking water. The camp sites were just idyllic by a beautiful stream. So quiet and peaceful. We went on a lovely walk. I highly recommend and the only problem was mosquitos which we didn’t prepare well enough for. Thanks so much for the best get-away

We absolutely loved our stay at Alpen Cellars! It is our favorite place to unplug and unwind. This was our 2nd time there. It holds a special place in our hearts because we got engaged there last year.

Weekend Trip to Camp Stoney Meadows

We had such an AMAZING time at Camp Stoney Meadows, we will for sure be coming back!! The ranch is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful little hiking trails and tons of creek access spots and swimming holes. The ranch itself is amazing with spacious fields and adorable farm animals (cows, a mini horse and donkey). Our pup, Fig, had a BLAST running around and playing with the amazing resident farm dogs. They were such sweeties. <3 Our campsite (tent site #7) was so spacious and lovely-- it was right next to the creek! We basically had our own private area! We loved that we could cook on the grill at our campsite, but that there was a full outdoor kitchen accessible with all the gear we needed. They have a bathroom and even shower accessible as well. The other campers were so sweet too, and even had a communal campfire at night. We would 100% recommend staying on Nora and Scott's ranch. We will be back, and will for sure stay longer than 2 nights.

We had a fantastic experience. There were plenty of spots to pick from, the forest is beautiful and you can get a clear view of the stars at night. I would definitely make another trip here.

We loved the camping experience. The camp grounds are in such a nice area. The guard dogs are super sweet and were patient with our small dog Canelo. What a great place to unwind

Stoney Meadows is a very special place, we love visiting to camp, swim, and hike! Scott, Nora, and Alex are amazing hosts and great people! We love all the dogs and animals too!

Love this campground so much!!! Will def be going again!! Great place for the pups as well. Multiple places to swim or relax by the water and just a mile out of the campground you can go and experience the natural hot springs.

This was our 1st time at Kosk Creek. It's a wonderful gem! Large campsites that have plenty of room between you & your closet neighbor. Porta potties were exceptionally clean! 100% will book again. We also got lucky at the reservoir 4 miles up the road. We caught 5 nice trout between 3 of us
