Please be very careful booking cottages for someone else - like your parents just arriving from another continent - they might prefer something more conventional. We make our cottages very comfortable - they have all the basics - electricity - wifi - most have kitchens, bath or shower and comfy clean beds. This spot is incredible. Truly one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in my life, and it's 15 minutes from the City's swirl. Saskia and Fallon have made this such a soulful special haven -- the stone cabin is something out of a different era, the decor is so spirited, and the Canyon itself is literally jaw dropping. You'll be blown away and you won't want to leave! So many thanks for the hospitality and the chance to get away from it all ❤️🙏🎶

Staying on David's property reminded me of what it was like to go to summer camp as a kid. There's probably about 10 different units on his compound that give it a sense of communal living (minus the mess hall). The heart of Topanga is well represented at the compound, from the proximity to nature to the eccentric artistic touches. Loved having a home base we could access hiking trails from and decompress with our pup.

3 nights at Beautiful Lake House In The Mountains

This cabin is great! Clean, cozy, and comfortable. Just minutes from Gregory Lake which has great hiking, fishing, and an inflatable water park. We were able to watch birds, deer, and squirrels from the patio. The host was responsive and really nice. Check in/out was easy and the cabin info was clear and well organized. It was our first time in Crestline and we loved the small town vibe. Same beautiful setting as Arrowhead, but the people were really nice and the drive was much shorter.
