I also provide camping chairs, utensils and much more. The star viewing is amazing. There is a private hiking trail and a shaded dog area for your pet to enjoy. Local activities such as hiking and visiting historic Julian, a short drive to Anza Borrego are all in the area. We are located on the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation, make either a left or right from Hwy 79 onto Camino San Ignacio in Warner Springs, CA, keep to the left at the loop and drive out about 5 miles . When you reach the Ranger Station at the stop sign, make the first left at the sign located at 1600 Camino San Ignacio and drive all the way out to the back. The Happy Camper is located on the left.

Beautiful property-lots of room to spread out and enjoy the terrain and night sky. Our little terrier loved exploring and just cruising around the property. We used the cabin which allowed us to set up a bed and seating area. Great outside area to cooked and sit by the fire at night.
Adil communicated with us before our available and met us upon arrival to give us keys and portable toilet instructions. We will be back when possible and we will definitely recommend Adil’s Hip Camp site to friends and family.

What a magical little gem of a place to find in the middle of the desert. Had a beautiful night listening to the thousands of birds. Watching the sunset and sunrise was incredible. Smelling the fruit trees blew my mind. My dog and I did get to see the peacock watching over us through the night and were delighted that six great egrets nested in the tree right above where we were sleeping. My Merlin Bird app went absolutely nuts in this place!!
A porta-potty was delivered just as I was setting up and it was so clean, and very much appreciated.
If I had known how special this place was I probably would have carved out a little more time to stay longer.

I was the only one up there, it was so peaceful! Road getting up there was sandy but my motorcycle made it up and down fine. Close to the town and the nice roads around there. Clear skies were great for stargazing. Host was very accommodating and answered all my questions and offered to help out in a situation I had. Would definitely recommend. Great view out over the desert. Running water was a bonus. I think there was a toilet bit I didn't use it on my stay.
