No Pets please.Our backyard is unique as it was an old stone quarry at one time and now has an outdoor stage for occasional music events which you are invited to attend as well as to explore the rocks. There are many other cycling areas in the vicinity as well as hiking, rock climbing, bouldering, fishing, kayaking and general outdoor exploration. We are at an elevation of 4,500 ft and rarely have snow in the winter. We can provide a long list of climbs, hiking trails, and other adventure sports and scenic exploration. In Bishop the Paiute Casino is 6 miles to the south. Laws Historic Railroad and Mining Museum is 14 miles away. It is open to the public with 11 acres of interesting displays of the old western railroad buildings and artifacts including the huge 20 Mule Team Borax wagons. It is a great place to picnic. We are close to western Nevada’s historic mining towns like Goldfield, Tonopah and Gold Point. Death Valley is 2 ½ hours away. We enjoyed the quiet camp ground as we were the only campers there. Nice to have water and sewer hook ups and flush toilets. Could use a little maintenance and cleaning. The location is good for the parks. Our 27 ft trailer worked ok in the space. It’s a camp ground no lodge.

We loved our time here. I recommend one of the group sites if you’ll be tent camping. More room for activities and some of them come with a covered area over the provided table. The bathrooms were clean and the sinks near the camping area was a nice plus!

This campground is in an amazing spot on your way down into Kings Canyon. It’s right off of the road near a “caution ice cream ahead” sign. We stayed in our RV and didn’t use any bathrooms, sinks or anything like that so I can’t speak to those, but it did the job, which was provided us somewhat close campsite to the Roads End lot & hiking area; I highly recommend the Mist Trail btw. Also, I would recommend the campsites that are across the street (same campground), I think it was sites 6-9. We walked over to check out the river, but didn’t want to get into anyone else’s campsite. Site 5 isn’t my favorite as it is right next to the road & I woke up to cars driving by. Only drawback were the trash cans. They weren’t animal/bear safe, and there was trash on the ground surrounding the trash cans, which we chalked up to animals in the area. I would recommend & stay again. Also, I appreciated the Wi-Fi in an area that has no cell signal.

We had such a wonderful stay! This camping spot is perfect for couples — peaceful, private, and surrounded by water hook-up from all around the site. We loved being able to relax in our tent, enjoying the scenery. Toilets are nearby and made the stay even more comfortable. It would’ve been nice if there's shower rooms, but honestly, we’re not complaining — everything else was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful place in a valley, sinks for washing dishes etc. Nice flat tent camping, clean bathrooms with sinks and mirrors. Tent camping across the street, big open space with right amount of trees. Great ride from the park entrance all the way in.

We had a great experience at Kings Canyon RV Resort! The instructions were clear, and the area was absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect, and we loved seeing the wildlife that came right up to our camper—it made the trip even more special. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be back!

Had the most amazing time! Close to the bathroom which was a great surprise as it looks like a port-a potty but is a clean flushable toilet. Site 9 is quiet and private and has an easy access to the River. The water was cool and refreshing after some long days hiking. Definitely a hidden gem and one I’ll be returning to.

Lovely quiet spot nestled in the canyon. Not convenient but definitely worth the winding drive. Nice bathroom facilities (no showers, but flushing toilets) and just the right size to keep things intimate and manageable. Really loved it. Thanks for the great location!

Great little quiet campsite at the top of King’s Canyon. The host was friendly and informative. You can buy drinks, coffee, and ice cream at the stand there as well as gas which is very limited in the 2 parks.. Bathrooms were clean and sites had picnic tables and fire pits. I would definitely use this site again.

host was on site when I arrived on Friday evening the spot I had booked didn’t work for me but it was easy for me to get a different site very cool place with interesting history right on the main science route through Kings Canyon NP and not too far from Sequoia NP very clean bathrooms and lots of water stations, ice cream shop, ice for sale, gas, WiFi I would definitely recommend

Roger is a very interesting person with incredible stories to tell of his life. He took care of our electricity hookup needs promptly and also showed us around his carefully curated rock museum. The RV spot is also conveniently located by the highway and part of his home with a restroom included. So glad we found this place!

I absolutely love this place! All the deer hanging around, the grass is always green and it’s so clean! This is our second year back and we plan on making it again next year! The bathrooms are super clean and there is running water! There are RV/trailer hookups as well which is nice!
