Nestled in a serene location just north of Independence, this campground offers a unique blend of natural beauty and outdoor adventure, making it an ideal getaway for nature enthusiasts. To reach the campground, take U.S. 395 for 19 miles north of Independence, then turn west onto Fish Springs Road. Continue for half a mile until you reach Tinnemaha Road, where you will turn west again and travel for 2 miles to arrive at your destination. The campground features essential amenities to enhance your stay, including vault toilets, picnic tables, grills, and fire rings, all set against the backdrop of a picturesque stream perfect for fishing. With 35 camp spaces available, there is ample room for larger RVs, ensuring comfort for all visitors. Please note that shower facilities are not provided, and each campsite accommodates up to six people. For those interested in fishing, a valid fishing license is required for individuals aged 16 and older. The fishing season runs from the last Saturday in April until November 15, offering plenty of opportunities to cast your line in the tranquil waters nearby.
