Walid was incredible from the start. He sent videos of the full space, and gave us great directions on how to get there. The campsite is unbelievable. An incredible piece of land to enjoy nature and the chill weather with friends and fam.

The place was perfect for the families and kids we had there. They kids got a kick out of exploring the area. The weather couldn't be better. Plenty of great tent sites. The bathroom was clean. The owner was extremely communicative and gave us some great tips in the area. We were very happy!

Weekend Trip to Storybook Nook- secluded cabin!
Lydia's little cabin really does feel like escaping into a cute, cozy fairytale in the woods. I loved all the little details in the furnishings and the natural wood everywhere inside was gorgeous. Perfect for a little retreat away.
The room upstairs is a little cramped for taller individuals, but we managed just fine! Also, the upstairs can get a little toasty in the afternoons, but even during a heat advisory we did ok - the downstairs space stayed plenty comfortable with the small AC unit - and the upstairs cooled down very pleasantly in the evening with the windows open.
Lots of birds (Seller's Jays, nuthatches, brown creepers, juncos and chickadees), squirrels and chipmunks to watch comfortably from the shaded bench outside. While there are a couple neighbors somewhat close by, it feels very private and quiet with how wooded the area is and being located off a private road. We had an exceptional time just lounging. I highly recommend Lydia's Storybook Nook if you're looking for a little magic and whimsy in your getaway. ;)

1 night at Storybook Nook- secluded cabin!
I can't recommend this place enough! I wish I could have stayed longer. You feel like you're tucked away in a magical forest. There is so much to do around Lake Arrowhead, but Lydia and David have thought of truly everything to make you feel right at home in this cabin! There is so much intentionality in every spec of detail. Will definitely be back!

Loved this site! The magic of it was how private and secluded it felt. The amenities such as tent rentals and table rentals definitely made our lives easier since we didn’t have to haul as many items into the site ourselves. Walid was also very communicative and accommodating.

Almost perfect. This is an amazing site -- big enough for 100 people! We only had 9 and used a tiny part of the site. There is no running water (we knew that). The drive only took about 2.5 hours from the south bay. There is nice shade and the canyon feels secluded and remote. The only downside is that you can hear the traffic on the highway. Not loud, but breaks the illusion of being in the wild. We camped next to the picnic tables and the RV. Perhaps if we kept driving deeper into the canyon the would be no noise. The porta potty was nice and clean. There were two hammocks setup. The host was very helpful and responsive. He recommended an excellent hike with just a 5 min drive.

Gorgeous property. So secluded. Perfect for a group camping trip. Great hiking trial in the back of the property if you look to the right up the hill when you get to the end of the path. We had dogs up there and they got to roam free - such a blast. Host was very responsive and directions were clear. RV and tent are awesome.

We loved the entire property set up. It was a good mix between dispersed camping and having comfortable amenities. The porta-potty was super clean and having the RV as an option to sleep in or for storage was very convenient. Also the hammocks and solar powered lights made for a super cute camping ambiance.
