We're in close proximity to the Buffalo River at Buffalo Point park and also the historic mining town of Rush, and access to Redbud Cottage is along our private and well-maintained one-mile gravel road. The cottage has two double beds in the lower level bedroom as well as a queen bed in the upper level loft. A futon couch in the living room folds out to a double bed, as needed. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and cooking utensils of every kind. Both the stove and refrigerator are full size, there is also a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and the kitchen table seats six. Bed linens, towels, pillows and blankets are supplied. The bath is a tub and shower combination. There is a charcoal grill in the yard, but please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. We had an amazing experience at Howler Bike Park. Jennifer and John were the most accommodating hosts and truly went above and beyond. The temperature got very low this weekend and they went so far as to buy extra blankets and took them around to make sure we were warm enough. The glamping tent was spacious and close to the fire pit, restrooms, and all the great things at Base Camp. The restrooms and showers were very nice and well kept. The coffee shop, welcome center, the food truck - it was all spectacular. We will absolutely be coming back again.

We went to Howler for a quick weekend adventure, the Howler Hospitality quickly captured our hearts. Caution: staying here, you will feel like you are part of the family, you will be in a whole (amazing) mid century modern vibe, and the coffee and food—AMAZING! We thought we would go out to dinner one night, but there was no way we were giving up the peace and good vibes of Howler. They lit a fire for us every night at Basecamp and the bed, omg a dream. Five stars is not enough. They knocked it out of the park with this place. Great mountain bike trails, hiking, coffee, food and even better humans. We are so thankful for Jen, John, Chef, Bean and the whole crew. We’ll be back soon with more family & friends.

We had so much fun at this cabin! It’s the right size for a weekend getaway with a bed, small Roku TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, grill, and fire pit. The private bathhouse was a short walk from the cabin and was nice after a long day of outdoor activities. The property also offers a disc golf totem, swings, and open area to run around in. The location is also really close to the lower area of the Buffalo River. Easily a 5-10 minute drive to anything. Also, loved having Wild Bills, a gas station and convenience store, a short walk away for anything we forgot or needed. Loved meeting the gray kitty on the property. He was an absolute sweetheart and loved pets. Would definitely stay here again!!

I've visited howler bike park before to ride, but this was my first time staying in a glamping air conditioned tent. it was everything I needed and very convenient being about 100 yards from Basecamp. the air conditioner had no problem keeping the tent in the low 70s. the mattresses are high quality memory foam, honestly a little firm for my preference, but I slept great after a whole day of riding. I would absolutely rent a glamping tent again.

Spectacular view, cozy, private. It was a great stay and so much to do around Buffalo River and other state parks. Eden Falls is an absolute must! Just don't take Stoverville Road all the way! We did & it was great but only if you have a 4WD truck or other off-road vehicle! Newton County is a dry county so if you like adult beverages, bring your own. Same with food, bring enough and any special condiments. Ronald supplies cookware, etc. Comfy bed too!
