Really cool place to stay. The river was super chill and relaxing. The whole place was comfortable, bath house area was lovely and convenient. Several trails to explore. Host was very responsive and welcoming. I would love to stay there again!

We had a great stay! The site was level, hookups worked great and the whole park was clean, new and very nice. We loved the dog park, and felt very safe with our 3 year old riding around on his bike. The location was very close to downtown Hot Springs and there was also a really cool park/playground in the neighborhood. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Hot Springs!

Weekend Trip to Yearling Ridge Riverfront Camp

My family absolutely loved camping here! It was secluded enough to be peaceful and relaxing and you could hear all of the wildlife come out at night. We are very picky about where we camp with our dogs because they tend to get overly excited and don’t do well around a bunch of other camp sites, and this was the perfect place for them to be off leash and explore. There are neighbors relatively close to the site, but you couldn’t even tell they were there. The canoes and hammocks were a huge plus, along with the fire pit!! We would love to plan another trip here and stay longer!

The host has seriously thought of everything here. From the outdoor games, comforts in nature, vintage soda machine, and watercrafts available, it is awesome. We absolutely loved our stay! We enjoyed the private site, pedal boating, swimming with our dogs, and the luxurious shower house. Taking a bath while overlooking the water was stunning! It was amazing to have comforts like a bathtub, shower, and flushing toilet while camping! We can't wait to go back.

Our family of 5 had a great experience camping here. Plenty of shade to hang out under and the river was very refreshing. I loved that he had a pavilion to hang out along with swings and fire pit. My kids had fun kayaking around and catching fish. We also visited the Cossatot Falls (90 min drive), totally worth it!!

3 nights at Ouachita River Haven

We drove from Oklahoma to stay in our camper at the riverside spot with electric. It had been raining pretty heavily in the couple of weeks before our stay but we were hoping for the best. Casey, the host had communicated with us that of the riverside spot was too soggy we could set up at the top of the hill (easier, but not good views) if the spot we booked was too soggy. He left it up to us and we tried the soggy spot down the hill. After we got unloaded and hooked up it started raining and the river was rising. We got pretty nervous about potential for flooding and decided to go ahead and move back up the hill while we could. We totally got stuck in the mud with the camper hooked up! Casey was kind to get out in the monsoon with his truck and pull us out! We got set up at the top of the hill with his help, but decided we had better leave in the morning since we wouldn't be able to kayak on the river as we had planned. Before we left Casey gave us directions to a beautiful hike with a small waterfall. We will come back soon to kayak the river. The location is very pretty and works great if you want to float or kayak the river back down to your camp; that's why I booked this specific place. There were also cabins and tent camping that looked very nice. Casey, thank you again for being so kind and gracious. Bad luck on the weather but I'm looking forward to trying again!

Nice spot with views into the Ozark mountains of Arkansas. Quiet and nice spot to walk around with the hound dog. Saw a summer tanager and a few other nice birds. Wifi was a bit touch and go, due to the storms in the area, but otherwise all was good.

The Crystal Camp Campground is a rock hounding paradise and is less than two minutes from the Crystal Vista, Wegner and Avatar Crystal mines. This area of Arkansas produces some of the finest quartz crystals on earth and your chances of finding real treasure at any of the nearby mines is pretty much guaranteed. If your kids like to play in the dirt and hunt for treasure they will fill their pockets with real gems at any of the nearby mines. Please Note: This is a beautiful property and ready for your trip but guests should expect a work in progress as well. The property is newly cleared, we installed new picnic tables and have fire rings, but that's the extent of the amenities right now. This property was basically a 2 acre blackberry patch. About half has been cleared and 4 campsites created but the rest is still in progress. Work will not be performed during your stay. You may see tools and signs of recent work etc.. Located on a paved section of Owley Road in Mount Ida Arkansas. This is a large 2 acre property with four cleared sites that offer plenty of room for any size tent(s). Generators are welcome and pets are too. The property is bordered by old growth national forest and an ice cold spring fed stream is located in the national forest behind the property. Like all wooded areas in Arkansas ticks should be expected while hiking and camping at the Crystal Camp Campground. Please bring tick defense for yourself and pets.

Wegner Crystal Mine is located in Mt Ida, approx 40 minutes from our park. We are within a hour drive of Hot Springs; Bathhouse Row, Garvin Woodland Gardens, Mountain Tower, Crystal Ridge Distillery, Magic Springs, various tourist activities, restaurants and shopping. Mena is located within an hour drive of our park; Blue Zipline, restaurants, shopping. Once a guest's books any of our sites, our Guest Terms and Conditions Waiver will need to be signed/agreed to this can be found on our website and will be sent via guest FIRST welcome email after guest books their site. Waiver must be signed before guest entry is given into our park, no exceptions, due to our insurance constraints! We must receive our signed waiver no less than 7 days prior to your stay with us, which we will not repeatedly ask for, your stay will just be cancelled! We may ask a few questions prior to accepting a booking request at our campground area, these are not ("maybe", "possibly", or generic answer’s that are needed) they are yes, no, and specific’s for your stay with us; if you do not wish to relay this information to us; then we kindly suggest you book your stay in another campground. IMPORTANT River Usage: Southfork of the Caddo River is an extraordinary body of water and considered non-navigable; guest's may FLOAT down the MIDDLE of the creek for fishing, swimming, kayaking but must enter on our property, guest may not step out of the floating device on another person's private creek property and must remain in the floating device; during your stay guest's must stay within our private property creek footage for swimming or wading in the creek, if guest's encounter anyone along the river that does not allow this recreational activity please refer them to us, so we can refer it to the local game and fish department for investigation. It is always useful to carry your video camera with you so there is no he said, she said. We encourage our guest's to use the local lakes (Fancy Hill Lake, Lake Ouachita and Lake Greeson) and USFS streams for fishing and wading including the beautiful Little Missouri Falls.
