We recommend high clearance and/or 4WD or AWD vehicles. If you are unable to cross the creek, you will need to park in the parking area and walk across the creek to reach your site.

It’s the only place in the national forest system where you can access the Mississippi River from the shore, so that right there is a must do! We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails that you can bush wack your way through just behind the campground. There are cliffs, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. We are a short drive away from Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek(big cat sanctuary), War Eagle Cavern, and War Eagle Mill. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind everyone that consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. Weekend Trip to Hidden Springs Camping Retreat

It was absolutely amazing the view of the stars was amazing through the top of the starry night the bed was so comfortable it was amazing for my animals and my whole little family even with the burn ban in place I still got to grill and it was still amazing the owners were amazing and so sweet I told them I had been in the hospital and they made sure to check on me and make sure I was okay it was the most amazing experience I will definitely be booking them again for my ren fest season

The host was top notch. He was so accommodating and super friendly. The property is beautiful. The cabin was well kept, clean and comfortable. The creek is running low due to the drought but it held enough water to enjoy some fishing.

Weekend Trip to Ridgetop A-Frame Offgrid

Wonderful get away in the woods. Beautiful views that can be enjoyed from several spots created outdoors, as well as enjoying through huge glass panel windows from inside. Craftsmanship of recycled materials creates a deeper connection to being in the wilderness. My AWD Honda pilot did not make the switchbacks smoothly- next time I’ll prepare to hike in- but I hope to have many returns.

Weekend Trip to Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

If you're looking for some peace and quiet and not afraid to get in touch with nature, this is the place to be. If you're a "glamper" you should probably not stay here. The campground is clean (dirt and bugs are considered normal) and well maintained. We stayed at the cabin and it was everything we needed. Will definitely come back, if given the chance.

We absolutely loved our stay here! I noticed that some older reviews seemed to be from people expecting more of a resort-style experience, so I wanted to share our perspective. This is a beautiful, rustic, country camping experience—and that’s exactly what made it so special to us. The campsite is nestled in the mountains with beautiful scenery, peaceful surroundings, and several animals that added to the charm of the whole experience. The property is run by a wonderful mother-and-daughter team who made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality truly made our stay feel personal and special. There is also a bakery on-site with homemade baked goods and other items for sale, which was such a fun bonus. Everything felt genuine, peaceful, and full of character. We absolutely loved our time here and would gladly come back. If you’re looking for a rustic, peaceful country getaway surrounded by nature—not a luxury resort—this place is wonderful. We felt welcomed, enjoyed the beautiful mountain setting, and truly loved our experience!

Thanks Edendell for the relaxing stay. Host was communicative and gave us clear directions for how to find the glamping spot. Spot was cozy and guest facilities provided at the shared facility space were sufficient. All the plants were a bonus enjoyment factor. Great views.

Mizzy met all my expectations and more. Her land was beautiful and well taken care of. She was very attentive yet gave me and Scooby Doo plenty of space to do our own thing. I felt extremely safe on her land and absolutely recommend solo females to stay here. My dream trip! Thanks Mizzy :)

A fantastic place to get away! Brian and his wife are fantastic people who care about what they do. Us, coming from West Texas, they made us feel right at home and offered any advice they had. Great location if you are looking to ride the trails! The cabins have a Blackstone grill, mini fridge and a microwave along with a full size tub and shower. If we ever get a chance to go back that direction, I will definitely be in touch! Excellent experience!

We loved staying at the Bear Den! Brian and Misty were super nice and helpful. They checked in with us a couple times to make sure we were good. They answered any questions we had about the surrounding area. We especially loved how they took every little detail into consideration with the cabin and campground. We will definitely be back!

Loved our stay! The cabin is beautifully designed, incredibly peaceful, and truly one of those rare places that helps you slow down and reconnect with nature. My wife and I spent a few days here celebrating our 15th anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We enjoyed the spectacular views, quiet mornings with coffee, evenings by the fire, and the outdoor soaking tub—which is an absolute must! You can tell Curtis and Morgan poured their hearts into building this place. If you’re looking to unplug and recharge, this little mountaintop retreat is truly something special. Oh, and the drive in is fun and not so daunting if you have the proper vehicle and wheels with a little grip.

Clean, clean, clean! Such a nice property. The hosts were very accommodating. They reccomened places of interest in the area. And even gave us a small history lesson of the area. The cabin was so well kitted out! Games for kids and adults, too. Lots of extras! They plan on adding a dish washing station and a camp store.

The setup super cool and very very clean. The amenities and shower house was awesome! The mtb/hiking trail on the property was very fun. Red was extremely helpful and kind!! Definitely worth it and would recommend to anyone!!
