Nani was a remarkable host. Her land is quiet, clean and very pretty. She took the time to drive and meet us and escorted us to her campground. Each spot has a fire pit, picnic table and pad for tents. A really cute outhouse is in between the sites. She has built everything herself, which is quite impressive. She's a carpenter.
I do want to note that it is a 9.5 mile drive down a non paved road. It is very ruddy and washboard. We've been boondocking for 7 years and have been on some challenging roads. But, if you are somewhat inexperienced or have a vehicle that isn't equipped for it, you should be aware before attempting. However, it was definitely worth the stay. Beautiful property, very kind hostess and super quiet.

Spencer was a super nice guy! He allowed us to do a late arrival. Area was very quiet & peaceful! He didn't have septic yet but is in the process of putting it in right now - looks close to done. The 50 amp and water hookups were great and very easy access to site. Woke up to stunning views! Thanks again Spencer, we'll be back!

Car camped here for 2 nights to visit the Petrified National Forest. Amazing stay! Very quiet(I heard the train a few times but was really just background noise) and the stars at night were beautiful! Would definitely stay here again!

Nani is just an incredible person all around, we absolutely loved meeting her and chatting. My wife and I cherished our stay at Lancelot, you can tell that Nani’s heart and soul went into setting up and maintaining this beautiful campground. If you are looking for the perfect place to relax in seclusion while enjoying the out of this world stargazing, this is the spot to do it. We will absolutely be back.

Very easy to find. Close to Flagstaff stores if you needed supplies. Very quiet. Hosts were very helpful 50 amp power was available as well as water. Would definitely stop again.

Weekend Trip to The Campsites at Paraíso Dorado
Our first camp site using hipcamp and it was amazing! You can hear a little bit of noise but mostly quiet and so beautiful! Follow the directions coordinates and you’ll be good!

This camp site was the perfect stop on our cross country adventure. It was so peaceful and quiet out in the free range wide openness of Arizona. Nani was an awesome host. She made sure we found the place with no problems and thought of all the little touches to make the stay magical. Her labor of love truly shines through at Lancelot and I hope it continues to thrive and prosper. We will definitely be back next time we travel out this way.

We just stumbled on Christina’s listing and so happy we did! The spot was so quiet and remote, no service unless you hike up the hills (which is what we wanted!), and the stars at night are gorgeous. Christina was really easy to talk to and great with directions. She was always available if we needed anything and informative of the area. Seemed like a genuine great person.
Side note to campers, prepare for flies! They didn’t care about our food but just would not leave us alone unless we had reflectors up. Definitely no fault of the host, it’s just the area. A pretty minor thing though, would still highly recommend staying if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. And a great spot for dogs!
