Look out to the south and a view of Petrified Forest National Park is right there. And when you're in the park, using binoculars, you can see the campsite from Pintado Point. This is a remote, private campground with a canopy, picnic bench and fire pit that relieves you from the crowds of hotels and RV campgrounds in the area. There are no predators or threats to worry about at night, just the the most stars in the sky you've probably ever seen. Views of the National Park to the south and only a 15 minute drive to the North Gate.

We purchased the farm in 2021 and are working to reestablish the orchards and grazing lands surrounding the farm house. The property is bordered by a ridge of hills from which you can get a good view of the valley. The town itself is sparsely populated, with shopping available in St. Johns, 15 miles to the east; Snowflake, 28 miles west; and Show Low, 25 mile southwest.
Petrified Forest National Park is a short 30 minute drive to the northwest, beyond that lie the towns of Holbrook and Winslow, situated on historic Route 66.
Nearby are reservations of the Navajo, Apache, Zuni, and Hopi nations. Gallup, New Mexico lies about 2 hours to the northeast.

It was founded 1878 by Erastus Snow and William Jordan Flake, Mormon pioneers and colonizers.Learn more about this land:You will have hiking near the property. Colorado River nearby. Grocery stores 14 miles away. There is a park nearby that has a little water park where children can play. The property is desert so it has desert vegetation. Nothing but sky and land. There is a small town on the main road where you can visit the museum. There is also a Petrified National Park nearby. Food restaurants are nearby.This is very, very rural land. There are no driveways or pavement. The land is untouched and has nothing on it but trees and dirt and a few cow pies from cattle that roam the land freely. You will be parking, walking and driving on bumpy, raw and organic land. There are paved streets to get to the property but none within maybe 7 miles to the property. There are no street lights, just the sun and moon for light in the sky. Everything is dirt and trees. This camping is for those who are rogue and love off grid. Not for the faint heart camping. If you love 100% organic land, this is for you. There are no rv hook-ups or water provided or trash cans. Generators are acceptable from 10 am to 6 pm. Park you rv anywhere on the land.
