I offer 2 full hook-up spaces, one space is covered. Power is 50 AMPS! An RV must be under 12' to fit under the covered space.
I offer 4 dry camping options. You can book the Tent Cabana-The Shady Rest- listing or you can dry camp by booking through my Tent and Vehicle Camping listing. There are no exact designated spaces for tent/vehicle camping. You can choose where you prefer to camp. An extra vehicle is OK as long as it's part of your one campsite. 2 groups with 2 camp vehicles is 2 campsites.
I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. You can set up your bed or rent a full size bed which I will set up for you.
This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff.
I have WiFi and great cell service here. Please arrive by 8pm unless arrangements are made in advance. I meet with you and show you around.
I will greet you and show you around. I close my gates at dark. Once you are here you may come and go as you please.
I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10.
Dry campers- Off the pool area there is a clean restroom in my back garage and a sink with hot water. There is a breakfast room with clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available for your use. Lots of local birds visit daily. You are welcome to visit and pet my horses and donkeys!

Park your RV at our place on your travels, we are 5 min off the interstate! Dirt road is great for walking, some parts of the year people pass through for birding. Some people come to check out the area to potentially move to the area and some only come for the winters. We also have a short little nature trail that we made ourselves. We are 30 minutes south of Tucson, 25 minute drive away from Madera Canyon/Coronado National Forest for some great hiking and bird watching! No light pollution so you can see the stars good at night. Remember the term sky island. Here in southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico, mountains seemingly come out of nowhere to dominate an otherwise flat landscape. Discover the five distinct areas of this national forest, all of which have their own sky islands.
Start your wanderings at Sabino Canyon. Steep rock cliffs and unique desert vegetation follow Sabino Creek, which maintains water year-round. Keep a sharp eye out for desert wildlife adapted for high heat and low humidity. Gila monsters may sun themselves on rocks, while bobcats sip from the creek's water.
Discover Miller Peak, the highest peak in the Huachuca Mountains. Wilderness surrounding the area comprises vertical cliffs and deep canyons. That said, this route isn’t ideal for very low-clearance vehicles, those uneasy about dirt roads, or trailers/RVs over 30 ft.
Off-Grid Adventure: Since we're living that sustainable off-grid dream, we work with what we call a composting "outhouse" rather than a traditional septic system. If this rustic charm doesn’t sit well with you, we might not be the ideal fit.
Pet & Wildlife Lovers: We embrace friendly furry companions! Just bear in mind, the desert is home to critters galore—everything from coyotes to bobcats. Keep a watchful eye on your pets and please make sure you clean up after your pets.

The space: There are full hook ups for electricity, potable water, sewer, and a provided fire pit. Property is in the city and at night you are still able to stargaze. This is a great spot for birders, cacti enthusiasts, and cyclists. Guests will have access to their own xeriscape garden. Be on the lookout for colorful birds. The pad has a 30 amp/120 volt RV box and a 20 amp/120 volt GFCI receptacle. No converters are available at this time. No generator use allowed anytime. The space can accommodate the small Class A’s. The site is 40’ long. If your combination RV/ Tow Vehicle is longer than that then there is off street parking directly in front of the entry gate. This is a pull in or back in site only and not a pull through. ADA sidewalks outside.
Other things to note: This is a local residential neighborhood so no loud music or partying- quiet hours begin at 10p. Children must be supervised at all times. Dog owners must clean up after their pets. Animal companions can be unleashed if kept within your enclosed area. No barking dogs left unattended in the fenced area. There is cacti in the garden so it recommended to wear shoes when outside. No restrooms available. Near several grocery stores, bus routes routes, and laundry mat in less than 1 mile.

There are no exact designated spaces for tent/vehicle camping. You can choose where you prefer to camp. An extra vehicle is OK as long as it's part of your one campsite. 2 groups with 2 camp vehicles is 2 campsites.
I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. You can set up your bed or rent a full size bed which I will set up for you.
This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff.
I have WiFi and great cell service here. Please arrive by 8pm unless arrangements are made in advance. I meet with you and show you around.
I will greet you and show you around. I close my gates at dark. Once you are here you may come and go as you please.
I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10.
Dry campers- Off the pool area there is a clean restroom in my back garage and a sink with hot water. There is a breakfast room with clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available for your use. Lots of local birds visit daily. You are welcome to visit and pet my horses and donkeys!

Some people come to check out the area to potentially move to the area and some only come for the winters. We also have a short little nature trail that we made ourselves. We are 30 minutes south of Tucson, 25 minute drive away from Madera Canyon/Coronado National Forest for some great hiking and bird watching! No light pollution so you can see the stars good at night. Remember the term sky island. Here in southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico, mountains seemingly come out of nowhere to dominate an otherwise flat landscape. That said, this route isn’t ideal for very low-clearance vehicles, those uneasy about dirt roads, or trailers/RVs over 30 ft.
Off-Grid Adventure: Since we're living that sustainable off-grid dream, we work with what we call a composting "outhouse" rather than a traditional septic system. If this rustic charm doesn’t sit well with you, we might not be the ideal fit.
Pet & Wildlife Lovers: We embrace friendly furry companions! Just bear in mind, the desert is home to critters galore—everything from coyotes to bobcats. Keep a watchful eye on your pets and please make sure you clean up after your pets.

The site is 40’ long. If your combination RV/ Tow Vehicle is longer than that then there is off street parking directly in front of the entry gate. Other things to note: This is a local residential neighborhood so no loud music or partying- quiet hours begin at 10p. Children must be supervised at all times. One of the most important things when camping is feeling safe, and that was never a concern here. We actually felt comfortable leaving our doors unlocked during the day when we were out exploring, which says a lot. It was reassuring knowing that [host name] and [host name] were nearby in case anything unexpected happened—especially since we were traveling with our two cats and wanted peace of mind if the power went out or something came up while we were away.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and full of great recommendations for local activities and places to explore. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Bisbee/Tombstone area. Karls'a place is a patch of heaven! The detail and thought she has placed into this property if second to none. We arrived early in the day (her early in the day check-in time is a realy nice plus) and we got settled in pretty quick. It was lovely spending time with the animals such a relaxing atmosphere.
We thought we had seen it all, then night was upon us and Karla's property was that of magic. It was stunning, the lights and beauty, honeslty at every turn on the property. Not to mention the amazing AZ night sky!
Karla has stunning attention to detail and her heart has been placed into this patch of heaven in Southern AZ! I would highly recommend this Hipcamp, a truly amazing place to stay!

My dogs and I LOVED this spot!! It’s rare to find such a private oasis in such an urban area but that’s what this is. The elec hookup for my van was ideal as well as being able to top off my water tank—such a bonus! The table and chairs were so nice to get out of my vehicle and sit outside drinking coffee and oh my gosh the fire pit and firewood provided— I used it every night! I had room to do yoga outside without feeling watched like I do in campgrounds. It was one BLOCK away from the loop and since I was in Tucson to ride bikes w friends, that was so ideal. The hosts are the kindest nicest people. We will definitely be back!!! My dogs loved being able to roam in the completely fenced off yard. They rarely get to be that free. We slept well and really enjoyed our time here. Many thanks for creating such a magical and safe spot Sophia!!!

Just what we needed for a quick overnight while visiting Bisbee. Roy was very nice, and got us settled in our site. Be aware there are a lot of barking dogs in close proximity. Not a problem in van/camper, but felt like it would have put my dogs on edge if we were in a tent.
Watch out for Google Maps. It recommended the southern route frolm Bisbee, which had a lot of dirt and gravel roads. Northern route is much easier and more straightforward.

We loved camping on this property. Owner is very nice and accommodating. Quiet peaceful on a 3 acre parts of land. Keep in mind they do live there but very unobtrusively.

Leroy greeted us with a warm smile. He was very informative, accommodating and so generous with his knowledge on Alpaca and this beautiful region. The site was clean and private.
We extended our stay a couple more days because it was so centrally located and we felt safe here.

Can we just live here? Lol. This is the best spot we’ve stayed at so far! Gorgeous view, private & safe, super friendly host and neighbor. Plus having a porta potty onsite is really nice. This will be our go to spot when we come to Patagonia as long as it’s available.

Toni & Karl’s property was safe, clean, and FUN. Wish I was in more of a social mood when I arrived, but I was ready for bed!
There was a little something for everyone. They had Dirty Dancing projecting onto the wall over their pool when I visited & a few tables of smiling faces.
I was worried about finding a spot to rest my head with the annual Tucson rock & gem show being in town, but Toni & Karl pulled through for me last minute. I arrived in just a SUV, and they made room for me. Very kind & welcoming! 10/10 recommend!

Karla is an exemplary host, so helpful and available for all our questions. Hummingbird ranch has all the amenities we needed for our RV. Getting to visit the horses and donkeys was an added benefit. We were able to identify 14 species of birds in February with our Merlin app. We were the only visitors during our stay which made our stay even more memorable. Karla has gone above and beyond with her artistic landscaping throughout her property. We’ll definitely stay again and highly recommend Karla’s Hummingbird Ranch for RV’s or camping!
