An RV must be under 12' to fit under the covered space. I offer 4 dry camping options. You can book the Tent Cabana-The Shady Rest- listing or you can dry camp by booking through my Tent and Vehicle Camping listing. There are no exact designated spaces for tent/vehicle camping. You can choose where you prefer to camp. An extra vehicle is OK as long as it's part of your one campsite. 2 groups with 2 camp vehicles is 2 campsites. I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. You can set up your bed or rent a full size bed which I will set up for you. This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff. I have WiFi and great cell service here. You MUST arrive by dark unless arrangements are made in advance. I will greet you and show you around. I close my gates at dark. Once you are here you may come and go as you please. I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10. Dry campers- Off the pool area there is a clean restroom in my back garage and a sink with hot water. There is a breakfast room with clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available for your use. Lots of local birds visit daily. You are welcome to visit and pet my horses and donkeys!

We have a seasonally heated pool with 3/4 wraparound deck and amazing views of the Tucson Mountains. We have a basketball court, a ping pong table, cornhole court as well for recreation. Our Beach site has a domed 'chill zone' with heaters in the winter, comfortable chairs for relaxation and a great spot to let your dog hang out unleashed. Our Prickly Pear site has a pull through for campers and RVs. Our RV site has 30 amp electric and black water dump station. All of our sites are fenced in, and have many, many cool amenities such as fire pits, sinks with fresh, pure water, table with 4 chairs, gas grills and lounge chairs/porch swing. Our stay at Karla’s place was exceptional. We arrived just before sunset, and Karla was already waiting at the gate to welcome us and show us to our site. The spot was thoughtfully laid out and extremely well equipped. The 50-amp NEMA 14-50 hookup charged our Tesla without issue. The campsite layout is flexible and well designed, you can set up wherever you’re most comfortable and still have privacy and quiet. The property itself is more than a gem; it’s genuinely unique. We spent a good half hour exploring the artwork in the shared common space, which includes a kitchen area stocked with a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, and an immaculately clean bathroom. Karla is clearly both a craftsman and an artist, and the care she’s put into the property shows everywhere. Nothing feels generic or rushed, every detail feels intentional and one of a kind. We also had the chance to meet her horses and donkey, all of whom were gentle, friendly, and a joy to be around. The sunset was spectacular, the campsite was peaceful, and we enjoyed dinner in her beautifully decorated outdoor cabana. Karla was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. Everything was exactly as it should be. We can’t wait to return

Karla was super accommodating for my RV stay at her ranch. I'm relocating to the area and needed a place to stay for a few days until my new house closes. After several exhausting days preparing for my move and driving down here, the ranch has been the perfect place to get some much needed R&R. She didn't even mind my tortoise stretching his legs around the place! The pool, fire pit area, and other amenities are all well kept and proved a relaxing atmosphere. And yes. There are actual humming birds.😄

This was our second visit to El Pais and it was a wonderful as we remembered ❤️ We stayed in the tent spot which is awesome. The vegan food truck/movie night on the weekend was great. We love all the El Paisians!!! The coffee is always great and sunbathing poolside is relaxing. So many cool spots to relax inside and out.

I really enjoyed my stay! I loved the communal areas too. The site was nice and they helped me back in and find my spot even though u arrived late. I would definitely stay again!

What a great spot. Very welcoming staff, and great vibe that they've obviously put a lot of work into creating. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The common area is a great spot to hang out, watch a movie, and meet fellow travelers. The general area has some great food trucks and a fun neighborhood dive bar right across the street. Looking forward to coming back through.

The hosts were excellent and went out of their way to make the stay wonderful. The outdoor movies were fun and popcorn was available. Morning coffee came with the stay which made it nice . The common areas were comfortable and nicely decorated. Although it was in the city limits it felt like it was in a world of it's own. It was secure by locked gates so I felt safe.

Karla’s place is as good as it gets, very clean and the set up was great, easy access to camp spots with electric and water at a convenient location. The facilities were top notch, next to the bathroom there’s your own private room with everything you need for a great stay, amenities were the best, pool access, pool house with table and chairs and the decoration throughout were great. Karla is the best, she treated us like we were family. When we go her way again we will definitely use her Hipcamp!!

Wow! This was a lovely location and Karla has gone above and beyond to make this place special for those who stay with her. She is quite an artist. We enjoyed the pool, and visiting the donkeys and we slept well as it was very quiet. We will be back and hope to make this an annual visit.

This is a classic southwestern rustic property with original adobe, modern amenities if you enjoy a shower with a view, movie theatre popcorn, microwave, sink, loaner bikes to get into Patagonia a short distance away and much more. Most of all, the space has an easy going owner, partner and resident pup and cat. It provides for a wonderful home base from which to explore the area’s hiking, biking, water activities and birding. This was our first time with Hipcamp and very impressed. First off Tim & Victoria went out of their way to make sure everything was ok. It had sites set so you weren’t super close. They just opened Playa Tortuga Ultra Lounge a domed space to meet with the other campers to visit stay out of the heat or use a heater on cold night or a propane fire pit and visiting. They have several other things to do for activities. Our campsite had a propane grill, sink and running water, fire ring, table and chairs and a tub with extras if you forgot something. Nothing was left out and we didn’t even bring all our usual stuff for tent camping as they had it for us. Fun place to stay
