We have an 80-acre Organic Medjool Date farm located at the base of the Gila Mountains in Wellton, AZ. We are a bit off the beaten path but once you get here it's so worth the drive. The star gazing is amazing and if you like off-roading there are trails everywhere out here!
We have an onsite Brewery and restaurant, open seasonally to guests and to the public. High Tanks Brewing Co is open November-April, Thu-Sun. Throughout this season we offer many fun things to do such as farm tours, live music, cornhole tournaments, yoga, farm-to-table style dinners, and much more. Weekend Trip to Brewery on an Organic Date Farm
We have been to the farm (and pizza restaurant in town) several times but this was our first time glamping. Our group rented three tents and they were very comfortable for a night; toilets and showers brightly lit and clean. During the day, we enjoyed live music and good food/drinks with a larger group of friends. Friendly staff! Nice firepits at campsites.
A fun stop if you're passing through or want a quick get away from town to see the night sky.
Breakfast is not offered but Ligurta Station has comfort food just down the road.
If you have questions, I found it best to call the brewery directly during office hours; I wasn't able to get a response via Hipcamp contact form or the number listed for Misty. Maybe these just need to be updated?

This is my second time staying at the farm and I have to say it is such a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The yurts are amazing and decorated so nice. The bed is very comfortable and there is a heater for the cooler nights. Outside of the yurt is a propane fire pit. They serve wonderful food and cold drinks at their restaurant and bar. On weekends there is live entertainment.
The staff at the farm is super attentive.

A wonderful, unique experience. Had went to visit the brewery and didn't know they had the bell tents. Came back two night later and spent the night. Few things I would list.
1. Great food at the brewery. Smoke their own meats and local produce.
2. Night skies were incredible. The view walking in the date farm is amazing.
3. Tents were heated (if going early in year) and beds comfortable. Personal propane fire pit was nice.
4. Beer very good.

We had a wonderful time at River Sand’s! The 2 bedroom + loft was perfect for our family of 4. It felt like our cosy home was plopped down in the middle of a desert oasis! Surrounded by nature, RVs, campers, and sky! The clubhouse and pool were our favorite part, and make it feel like a resort hotel. We would definitely rent a cabin again, but plan to come back to camp as well. The laundry and shower facilities were a plus! The staff is so friendly and covered every detail! Highly recommended!

We had a group off 8 people staying in 4 Yurts at the High Tanks/Naked Date Farm. Had a wonderful time. The Yurts were clean and nicely decorated. Everything we all needed for a Valentine weekend. The people working there were all very kind and went above and beyond making us coffee and donuts in the morning. I highly recommend this place and will make a point to stay again.

We had a great time glamping, the Yurts were amazing, very clean and enough extra blankets in case they were required. Extra bonus was after all the music and Date beers had gone down relaxing around our own fire pit. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a great date evening or just going with a bunch of friends. 5 stars for sure!

The Clubhouse is very nice with game tables, TVs, sitting areas, exercise room (lots of equipment) and bathrooms. The pool is beautiful and there is a hot tub available. Sites are gravel but lots of space between. The park is huge with over 300 spaces. Laundry room & showers are clean. If you want a picnic table you have to rent one. Because the park is so large, depending on where your site is, you will probably need to drive or rent a golf cart to get to the clubhouse, laundry, beach, dog park, or fishing lake. It would be nice to have more shaded areas (i.e., cabana/ramada areas). It gets pretty hot and very little shaded areas. We brought our dogs and I was concerned about their feet b burning as there are very few grassy areas, if any. The beach has some cabanas. Everyone was very nice and friendly. I'm certain in a few more years, when the vegetation has a chance to grow, it'll be absolutely beautiful.

River Sands Resort was clean and well organized. we arrived late but the managers provided us with all of the information we needed to set up a late camp site. The site was everything it promised to be. I would recommend it to everyone.

I stayed here twice in one month. The first thing I noticed was the courteous and helpful staff. There are long & wide pull-thru spots. The showers and laundry facilities are excellent. Groceries and the Colorado River are within walking distance—overall, it was most enjoyable!

the camp was very cute, the bed perfect. the host very accommodating. food on site and they provide a propane fire for smores! they also have a heater in the tent! the playground wasn’t sturdy and the bathroom soap wasn’t working but apart from that it’s great for kids to run around and play! nice desert getaway!

We had just a towed camper and a quick night, and we're very glad with the stay. All the facilities were clean and seemed very new. We enjoyed the sparkling pool and the proximity to the river to go play, plus the playground was a nice touch. I guess for being there less than 24h we really used it well!
