Rainy season, is late June through September. Our 3 sights are all level gravel, 50amp, 30amp and 1 non hookup site. Imagine yourself sitting out in the warm evenings looking up at the wonderous, star filled sky. Or watching the sun set over the Hualapai Mountains, or getting up early to catch the sun rising over the Aquarius Mountains. The Hualapai Mountain hiking trails and Lodge (Great food with Mountain views) are within half an hour drive. The City of Kingman is also half an hour away west on hwy 40. Where there are Wineries, Breweries, Museums, Restaurants and ample shopping, including, of course, a Walmart. Other nearby fun places to explore: Follow the famous Mother Road - "Route 66." Where you can: Visit Peach Springs and drive to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, have a picnic by the beach and splash in the Colorado River. Take a picture by the 3 dimensional Route 66 sign. Drive up the 22 mile Sidewinder (191 curves), to the old restored mining town of Oatman, with all kinds of little shops, and a daily gunfight. And be sure to meet the Mayor of Oatman, who is actually one of many locals wandering freely through town, descended from the original Donkeys owned by the miners when they abandoned the town. Yes the mayor is a Donkey, and watch it because he may try to steel your bag if it contains candy or food. Keep driving down old Rte 66 to Topic, have a drink sitting in one of the Butt Chairs at the bar, or outside overlooking the Marina.
