Do you love being in the middle of nowhere surrounded by Saguaro, Prickly Pear, Barrel, and Jumping Charro cacti, watching gorgeous sunsets, and star-gazing at night, listening to the white winged doves, cactus wren, Gila woodpeckers, Gambel’s quail and the cry of coyotes? Then this place is for you. Full hookups! Our 40ft motorhome had plenty of room. Saguaro Nat. Park entrances (E&W) are close by as is Mount Lemmon. Lots of hiking trails. Tucson is close enough, lots of shopping, groceries & restaurants. We can’t say enough good things about this place. The road in is dirt, gravel, & a bit of asphalt. It is worn, bumpy & washboarded, but take your time and it’s no problem and well worth the effort. We can’t wait to visit again.

This is a hidden gem for those who appreciate natural beauty and a peaceful atmosphere. Surrounded by desert cactus and framed by gorgeous mountain views, it offers a scenic and relaxing experience. It is reasonably private. Full hookups work great. The only downside is the access road, which is fairly rough and may be a bit challenging for larger rigs—so it’s best to take it slow on the way in. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy the desert in comfort and quiet.

Wow what a beautiful and peaceful location! Full hookup right against the Saguaro National Park. What more could you ask for. Dirt road to get in that has a bit of washboard. We had no problem in 32 foot A class. This will now be our go to spot in the Tucson area.

It's quiet around here but along with the natural sounds of the desert like yipping coyotes, and woodpeckers pecking, you may hear a horse, dog, or chicken. While we are on the outskirts of Tucson, we are not completely remote. We have carved our sites out of the natural layout of the desert. There are many kinds of cactus in our area in addition to the magnificent Saguaro, and uneven areas when walking. We keep it as natural as possible. We have a small "Mercantile" on property. This is our office, but we also have items you may have forgotten, and souvenirs made by local artists. Also available is firewood, and ice is for sale for your convenience. We have a small Laundry Shack (two washers, two dryers) 2.00 wash/2.00 dry. You'll need cash for these things, we do not take any other form of payment at this time. Camp Saguaro is tobacco-free. This is a safe place to get off the road for a bit, or to take a break from the busy/noisy city life, to relax and unwind in nature! Dogs are welcome, but please pick up after your pet!
